Resident Camp
Coed
Mayer, Arizona
The Orme Ranch Camp is a place where you
will be able to learn to ride a horse, make a
leather belt, improve your tennis game, and
sleep out under the stars of the Wild West.
You will make friends from all over the
country, hang out with our awesome camp
counselors, and do things that you may
never have done before. You will have the
fun of living with other campers and a
counselor in one of our dorms or cabins.
Orme Camp has its own Western and English
riding arenas, indoor basketball gym,
weight room, outdoor swimming pool,
baseball, softball and soccer fields. We also
have archery and rifelry ranges, as well as
several arts and crafts rooms complete
with leather tools, pottery wheels, and a
theater. All of this is located on 26,000
acres of Arizona range land where you will
go horseback riding, hiking, and watch the
sun set over the beautiful open desert.
Whether you like to ride horses, play
sports, make friends, perform in plays, or
shoot a bow and arrow, The Orme Ranch
Camp is the place for you!!!!
CAMP AGE GROUPS
Campers are divided into
three age groups.
1. Youngers (7-9)
2. Intermediates (10-12)
3. Olders (13-16)
Block Days VS. Special Days
Block Days: These are
“regular” camp days. You
will sign up for activities
for each camp session
and attend these same
activities on every “block
day” of that session.
Special Days: These days
are a break from the
‘block days”. You can have
the chance to sample new
activities, and
participate in all camp
activities such as a swim
meet, or a trip to
Prescott to be in the 4th
of July Parade and
attend the countries
oldest rodeo, the
Prescott Frontier Days
Rodeo!

All Girls
Mayer, Arizona
WHAT DO GIRLS DO AT CAMP?
There are over 60 different fun activities from high ropes courses to rock climbing to team building, girls learn about themselves and how to work with others. Traditional camp activities include hiking, swimming, horseback riding, star gazing, singing, and art projects. In addition girls will learn about yoga, healthy cooking & eating, managing money, how to journal, and how to communicate effectively with each other and their parents. It is fun with purpose. And best of all are the friendships they make and keep!
HOW DO GIRLS BUILD CONFIDENCE AND LEADERSHIP SKILLS AT CAMP?
Today girls are up against almost insurmountable odds to be who they are, make decision that serve them and live the values they truly hold. Peer pressure is at an all-time high; the internet may have given the girls a new place to “gab: and it has also taken bullying to a whole new level. The media has girls believing that they are not then enough and advertisers exploit a girls greatest fear… that she just isn’t good enough…
Our mission is clear. To create a variety of camp experiences that build self-assurance and leadership skills, teach life skills and help girls understand what matters most. It’s about real friends, family, education, the planet and dreams that inspire their future.
