Tamwood International Camps was founded in Whistler 1992 and now operates three summer camps in Canada. Tamwood is a privately owned company and the owners are very involved in the day to day operations of all the camps to ensure that all campers get the best education, experience and care possible. Tamwood runs English language camps in Vancouver and Whistler, British Columbia and London, Ontario. Tamwood also runs an adventure camp in Whistler.

Tamwood campers come from all around the world, so every year is a new experience. Campers will learn English, have fun, learn about other cultures and make friendships that will last a lifetime!

BCDAS is honoured to have National Ballet of Canada First Soloist, Jillian Vanstone exclusively as our guest Ballet faculty member this year! This Ballet intensive is a once in a lifetime opportunity for Ballet students to work with one of Canada's top Ballet Artists! Our professional Ballet Intensive will immerse aspiring dancers in daily Ballet technique class, Ballet Variations, Ballet Repertoire, Pointe or Pre-Pointe class, Conditioning and Contemporary.

International House Vancouver offers the Children's Adventure Program for students the ages 5 -12 with any level of English. Each week, students explore different topics such as Space, the Ocean, Ancient Egypt, the Human Body, the Weather, the Jungle, Dinosaurs, the Ice Age, and Communities. This is an eight week program beginning in July. In class activities and all day field trips are coordinated with the weekly theme. Students can begin this program on ANY MONDAY during the course dates and will receive a Certificate of Completion at the end of their study time. See you next summer!

VFS’s Acting Summer Camp for Teens is an intensive five-day introduction to on-camera acting for teens, ages 13 – 16, as developed by VFS’s acclaimed Acting for Film & Television program. Led by Mattie Shisko, an Acting instructor with over 17 years of experience, this program will immerse students in all the major areas of acting for film and television, such as: Scene Study, TV Commercials, Improvisation, Monologue, Script Analysis, Voice Over/Animation, and more. Students will also gain hands-on experience crewing, writing, and rehearsing with other participants in a fun, creative environment. Along with supervised lunch hours (lunch provided), everyone will come away with a DVD of their work, as shot in class and on location. Register early, as there are a limited number of spaces.

At Guitar Workshop Plus we possess a strong commitment to music education. We offer students a unique setting for intense musical and personal growth. Join us this summer and treat yourself to a fun and educational music-filled week!! Courses are offered for all levels, ages, and styles including blues, jazz, rock, acoustic, and classical. Bass, drum and keyboard classes are offered as well. Each day consists of morning and afternoon classes that involve a hands-on approach, late afternoon clinics, ensemble performances, and evening concerts. Professional faculty and world-class guest artists teach and perform. Past artists include Joe Satriani, Alex Lifeson, Robben Ford, Paul Gilbert, Randy Bachman, John Scofield, Billy Sheehan, John Abercrombie, John Knowles, and many others.
