At Camp Pacific, our popular Recreation Camp and Surf Camp sessions are filled with exciting day activities such as: tennis, surfing, soccer, arts and crafts, riflery, basketball, water polo, snorkeling, guitar, weight training, surf, bodyboarding, and many more activities that have made our camp a huge success! The Academy by the Sea provides a unique boarding school learning environment that offers enrichment and credit courses. Our academic programs are structured and follow a disciplined schedule, yet they are enriching and full of recreational activities once class time is over.

We keep our class sizes small so that we may provide each student with the individual teacher attention they need (1:10 teacher to student ratio). Students receive class instruction in the mornings, and participate in recreational activities during the afternoons (so long as all class work has been completed). On the weekends Sea World, Magic Mountain, and Knott’s Berry Farm are only a few of the places they will enjoy.

Some of our enrichment courses are Media Production, Computer Journalism, ESL, Math, Oceanography, and Guitar. F.A.M.E. Camp: F.A.M.E. Camp (Film.Acting.Music.Enthusiasts.) is for campers with a strong desire to become an actor, filmmaker, and/or rockstar!! Campers choose a “major” in one of three key areas and enjoy a fun program while receiving an expansive training from our team of industry professionals.

Discovery Camp: Discovery Camp is perfect for first time campers as well as seasoned pros. Discover all the fun, friendship, sports, games, adventure, art, and amazing staff uCamps has to offer!!!

The Original SDC: Summer Drama Camp (SDC) is the program that started it all. Campers design their own program from start to finish. This magical camp combines the best of the worlds of art, sports and the outdoors in one amazing place.

uCamps SoCal: Spend a week in the beautiful mountains near Big Bear Lake and have the experience of a lifetime! Campers design their own program, choosing the activities they like best while making friends and working with our amazingly fun staff. It doesn't matter if you are shy or outgoing, young or old, everyone is treated like a rock star! Ride horses, make films, be in a rock band, act, sing, dance, swim, hike and play!! You can do it all at uCamps!

L.I.T Program: The Leadership in Training (LIT) Program is a dynamic leadership training for students interested in bettering themselves and the world around them. This two week training program is at once educational, transformative, hard work and tons of fun!!! Instead of participating in regular workshops with the campers, as a selected group of leaders, they attend workshops designed to improve communication, conflict resolution, team building, time management, public speaking and other skills necessary to be successful in college and in the workplace. Participants leave having learned a lot while making new friends and lifelong memories. Graduation from the program is NOT a guarantee for job placement with uCamps, but it is a prerequisite for students interested in working for uCamps in the future. In the second week of the program, L.I.T.s work directly with the campers; leading games and activities, working in the cabin and serving as positive role models.

Our mission is to provide fundamental basketball training, in addition to motivation, for young players to set and achieve personal goals. Every child of varying age and ability will come away with the drills and the inspiration to make them a better player and teammate.

Through positive coaching, motivation, reinforcement, and fun-filled activities, young basketball players have a chance to learn the basics of the game, as well as some of the qualities necessary to succeed in many aspects of life.

Individual Day Camp Set for June 22-25, 2009 & June 29-July 2, 2009

(San Francisco) - USF head coach Rex Walters announces an exciting individual basketball summer camp for 2009. Coach Walters camp will focus on kids playing hard, smart, together and having fun. He and his staff will work with campers on being a team player, being unselfish, understanding what hard work is, showing great sportsmanship, always having a positive attitude, understanding the rules of the game, and understanding how the game should be played.

The elite camp will be held in historic War Memorial Gym on the USF campus for ages 6 – 16. Camp will have 2 sessions, 9:00am to 12:30pm and 1:30pm to 5:00pm. Supervision will be provided in between sessions. The cost for 1 session is $165.00 or for both is $295.00 for the week. With the price of admission campers will receive a t-shirt, shorts, basketball, coaches evaluation and an individual workout program. Campers will be grouped according to skill level and ages.
