1. Academy by the Sea / Camp Pacific - Academy by the Sea/Camp Pacific has a spectacular oceanfront campus with enriching academic & recreational summer programs. We offer Academic Enrichment, Academic Credit, English as a Second Language, College Preparation & Readiness Education Program (C-PREP), JROTC Leadership, Camp Pacific, Athletic Training Camp and Surf Camp for ages 9 - 17.

Located on oceanfront property in Southern California, Academy by the Sea/Camp Pacific offers a wide range of dynamic programs for students and campers. Program selections include: Academic Enrichment, Academic Credit, English as a Second Language, JROTC Leadership, and Camp Pacific.

During their stay, all students and campers receive specialized instruction in their areas of interest. While portions of participant’s days are dedicated to educational classes and clinics, the remainder is devoted to the pursuit of various leisure and social activities. This schedule format allows time for students and campers to take advantage of new recreational opportunities and build unique relationships with their peers.

Operating as a college-preparatory boarding school for boys during the academic year, during the summer, the campus is transformed into a co-educational environment, hosting a unique mix of students, teachers and camp counselors from all over the U.S. and the world.

Academy by the Sea/ Camp Pacific programming is designed to enrich each participant’s character through academic pursuits, recreational activities, and leadership training.

2. SEACAMP San Diego - SEACAMP San Deigo is a Marine Science camp for students 7th grade through 12th grade. We specialize in hands-on education through a combination of lab and water activities.

SEACAMP San Diego's mission is to provide exciting, innovative, hands-on, and interactive marine education opportunities, to students across the country and around the world. SEACAMP San Diego offers three unique camp opportunities: SEACAMP I, SEACAMP II, and SEACAMP III. Each camp immerses students in the fascinating world of marine biology through interactive marine science classes and field experiences. SEACAMP instructors utilize on-site aquarium facilities to teach hands-on labs. The topics of SEACAMP I labs include intertidal invertebrates, fish adaptations, night adaptations, marine mammal, and shark ecology. Labs are then all followed with field activities including several snorkel excursions, kayaking, and boogie boarding.

3. Camp SEA Lab - Explore the SEA (Science, Education, Adventure)! Dive into week-long day and residential marine science camps: kayak, snorkel, sail, surf…from Santa Cruz to Monterey. Learn how you can help conserve, protect and get involved with our coasts and ocean!

Camp SEA Lab
Science, Education and Adventure
Dive into the summer with Camp SEA Lab! Spend your summer getting in, out and around the water along Monterey Bay, CA. Join Camp SEA Lab for a week of hands-on experiential opportunities exploring the marine environment. Boys and girls will have the opportunity to explore our rocky coast and sandy shores, discover marine life, design and fly Remotely Operated Vehicles (ROV), and investigate the diverse web of life that calls the ocean its home. Campers gain skills in teamwork, make new friends and gain self-confidence that enables them to become the new stewards of our coasts and ocean. Travel along the coast and discover how you too can become an ambassador of the ocean and ride the wave into a great summer experience.

4. Lawrence Hall of Science Summer Science Camps - Learn marine biology or wildlife biology at University field stations or mountain ecology and science while backpacking in the Sierras

At the our high school science research camps, students have a unique opportrunity to participate in wildlife or marine biology investigations usually available only to scientists at Universtiy of California research stations.
At our backpacking science camps, you will engage in hands-on science activities as you learn about rocks, astronomy, birds, insects, trees and flowers along with learning outdoor survival and backpacking skills.

5. Zoo Camp

Zoo Camp is a great way for kids to learn about animals in an outdoor setting. Zoo walks, animal-themed crafts and games are all part of the fun. Younger children focus on animals' habitats and their adaptations for survival. Older children explore animal behavior in wild ways that will sharpen their observation skills and deepen their appreciation of the diversity of life on earth.
