This summer design, program, and play your own computer games! Our curriculum takes advantage of the visual and interactive nature of making games so that students learn by experimenting. Students in our class learn programming fundamentals in Python – a powerful but easy to learn language.

Programming is a great way for students to expand their horizons, learn abstract thinking skills, and practice math concepts – all while having fun! After taking our class, students will have cool 2D games that they can play in their web browser and show their friends.

We offer small class sizes with knowledgeable, experienced teachers. Our courses are for any rising 7th, 8th, and 9th grade students.

In its 11th year of operation, PlanetBravo’s Techno-tainment Camp hosts more children each summer than any other technology camp in Los Angeles!

This camp gives kids the chance to explore their love of computers and technology, while still ensuring plenty of fun in the sun! Campers at Techno-tainment Camp work in one-week sessions on chosen projects from one of over 15 fun and exciting courses.

The Digital Media Academy offers separate courses for kids, age 9-13 (at all its campus locations), called Digital Media Adventures. Like DMA's teen courses, the hallmark of Adventures is its superior instructors. Other summer computer camps, by necessity, hire young people barely out of high school as instructors. At Digital Media Adventures, we have a more sophisticated approach. Our master instructors have a level of expertise you simply will not find at other computer camps. They are real-world industry professionals, working in the fields of 3D animation, video production and game design who also have a passion for teaching kids. Our instructors are older, have more experience, are more professional, and are paid more than those at other computer camps...and it shows. At Digital Media Adventures, we strike a balance between in-class learning and out-of-doors fun. We recognize that kids need to move!
