The Mountain Camp cabin is located by the Tioga Pass area of Yosemite. We are creek-side in the midst of beautiful nature. The main focus of this camp is enjoying being in the midst of nature. We do some hiking, and campers do have some choices as to how much hiking they want to do. We also may do some lake swimming. We have other sports options. We even have ping pong, foosball, etc. at our campsite. Expeditions may take place around Yosemite, the ghost town of Bodi, the Devil's Postpile, Rainbow Falls, and much more. Campers grow and develop together as a caring, cohesive group. Appreciation and respect for nature is key. This small program affords counselors the opportunity to spend individual time with each camper and help guide each camper to grow individually. This is an intimate opportunity only available one week in alternating years (along with our overnight weeks of the Hikers' Heaven, the California Cruzin', and the Alien Adventure).
