- Awosting for boys is a private residential camp located in the rolling hills of Litchfield County, Connecticut. We are family owned and operated since 1900 and ACA accredited. Our program includes 30 different activities to choose from each day!

We are America's oldest private camp in continuous operation since 1900. Our sister camp, Chinqueka, has been in operation since 1955. Our program includes morning swim lessons and afternoon electives at over thirty activities. We pride ourselves in the traditions of concern for others, respect for the environment, and individual accomplishment. Last summer we had campers and staff from all over the United States and from more than 15 different countries.
