Camp Playland of Redding

A traditional day camp dedicated to providing campers a safe, healthy, fun-filled and instructional summer. We offer a skill development program that enables each child to grow and learn at his or her own level while having fun!
Day Camp - Coed - Redding, Connecticut
Camp Playland of Redding is located on 35 beautiful acres, minutes from Route 7. Wooded areas and natural wetlands produce an extraordinary environment for our camp program.
Facilities include three heated pools, archery range, nature pavilion, ballfields, low ropes course, multi-purpose court area for basketball and other sports, picnic pavilion, play areas, areas for music, drama, arts & crafts, and more. Off-site tennis instruction is provided for older campers.
Campers are placed in a group of sixteen to twenty campers according to school grade. A senior counselor and one or more junior counselors lead each group. The senior and junior counselors stay with the group and escort campers through six activity periods daily. Every activity is programmed and taught by specialists who have expertise in their area. There is one counselor for every four campers at Playland.

Trailmark Outdoor Adventures

Trailmark offers teen adventures to New England, Colorado, Utah, Wyoming and Quebec. Trips include a variety of adventure activities including rock climbing, backpacking, mountain biking, sea kayaking, horseback riding and rafting.
Travel Camp - Coed - West Redding, Connecticut
Trailmark is an adventure travel program ideally suited as a post-camp experience for students' ages 11-17. Co-ed trips travel to New England, the Northern Rockies or Southwest Colorado and are 7-14 days in length. Various trips may be combined to create a longer experience. Campers grouped closely by age, travel by van with 2 adult leaders, camping each night in either established or wilderness campsites.
Trailmark provides a supportive small-group environment, which fosters personal growth through active participation in a variety of adventure activities. Outdoor activities include whitewater rafting, backpacking, horseback riding, sailing, mountain biking, canoeing, sea kayaking, rock climbing, mountaineering, and service projects. No previous travel camping experience is necessary to have "the best summer of you life".
