Your child can participate in a variety of “specialty camps” on our 20 acre campus located in the heart of Boca Raton, FL. Choose from Fine Arts, Band, Sports, KidVenture, Tennis, Leap Ahead, TV Production or our Swim Camp. From the Field to the Stage we've got it all!

All activities are directed by adult professional teachers and coaches. Each program has a dedicated swim time & enjoys indoor and outdoor activities. A daily hot or cold lunch is also provided. The PlayGround Theatre for Young Audiences Artistic Directors Oleg Kheyfets, Stephanie Ansin and talented company members will lead students on a fun-filled, challenging artistic adventure.

Summer Drama Day camps are devoted to building self-esteem and self-confidence via the path of theatre and/or film related performance and technical skills.

Camps are boken down into age appropriate categories offering opportunities to perform, dance, act, sing and work backstage at whatever level a camper is comfortable.

Determined by the camp, a camper may perform in a musical, learn the skills of being a film actor, writer, director or, for the little ones, get used to being in front of people via a class just for them. All camps have a showcase performance.

There are many options for campers this year that include our regular Camp Sagemont program for those who enjoy the variety of camp activities that include arts and crafts, cheerleading, computers, cooking, dance drama, karate, music, science, sports, swimming, filed trips,special events and more, Art Camp for those with an artistic flair, Drama Camp for those who like to perform and need drama in their lives, Science Camp for those who are mad about science, Travel Camp for those who like to sample all the recreational/educational venues that South Florida has to offer, Sports Camp for those with a competitive edge and Summer School.

Each summer, New York Film Academy Summer Camps give hundreds of high school students an unforgettable and transformative experience in Filmmaking, Acting and 3-D Animation. The New York Film Academy high school camps are designed for students with little or no previous filmmaking, acting or animation experience. They are hands-on intensive workshops that fully immerse students in the craft of writing, directing, casting, shooting, acting in, editing, and animating their own films.

The New York Film Academy is honored to be the film school of choice of many Hollywood filmmakers and their families, including the son of Steven Spielberg, the son of former James Bond actor Pierce Brosnan and the sister of director Luc Besson (Fifth Element, La Femme Nikita).

We have chosen some of the most prestigious and inspiring locations in the world to hold our camps including, The Dalton School in New York City, Universal Studios in Los Angeles, Oxford University in England, Disney-MGM Studios in Orlando, Florida; Harvard and Princeton Universities, Paris, France; and Florence, Italy.

We offer 1, 3, 4 and 6-week filmmaking, acting and 3-D animation workshops.

The camps at each location are closely supervised while providing a nurturing environment that encourages students to take creative risks. As part of the camp experience, students take part in a range of extracurricular activities and field trips particular to each location.

Students reside in dormitories, resort hotels, and residential apartment complexes depending on the location. Dining facilities are offered at all of our U.S. locations; at our overseas locations, our students choose from local eateries and may cook their own meals. Housing is either on campus or conveniently located to our classroom facilities.

Quality adult supervision of the New York Film Academy high school camps is our highest concern. All of our workshops are fully supervised. Our counselors are 21 years and older, and many have their undergraduate degrees in filmmaking or acting. Counselors reside in the dormitories or in the hotel rooms adjacent to the students depending on the location.

A program where children can spend their summer learning in a fun environment about magic and similar forms of entertainment including various forms of juggling, balloon art, balancing,mime and puppetry. Our focus is on creating a safe atmosphere where children can explore their creativity, learn about being a performer, improve their dexterity, and enhance their social skills. Campers gain self-confidence and a more positive self-image from our camp program. End of session performance.This is the Summer of Illusion. We will be bringing all of our larger illusions to camp. Campers will be making illusions as well. (No power tools)
