What is Urban Adventures?
Urban Adventures is a youth summer camp that specializes in teambuilding for 7-15 year olds, combining of both sports and adventures. Campers learn and develop their athletic abilities as well as face a daily team competition call the UA Challenge. During UA Challenges teams compete in numerous missions using teamwork, strategy, and athletic ability trying to collect triangle pieces. These triangles represent 5 essential inner qualities: Leadership, Teamwork, Integrity, Sportsmanship and Cooperation. The team to collect the most triangles wins the UA Challenge.
The UA Challenge does not use a system of elimination. The campers do not vote off other campers until only one remains. Even though not every camper will win a UA Challenge, Urban Adventures feels that campers need to learn about healthy competition through participation, not elimination.
Each year the campers will not only participate in some of the most exciting and unique challenges they have ever seen, but they'll will also make enduring friendships that last a lifetime.
Urban Adventures has only one rule…Respect. Campers are taught to respect the environment, their surroundings and belongings, and most of all, each other.
