Since 1999 over 130,000 students worldwide have immersed in hands-on learning to create iPhone apps, programs with C++ and Java, video games, websites, movies, 3D models, ad designs, robots, films, and photos. Beginner to advanced students ages 7-17 enroll in these fun and challenging, weeklong, day and overnight summer camps held at 60 prestigious universities nationwide (see below).

Small class sizes (max 8:1) are guaranteed and taught by adult-only instructors, with Teens, pre-Teens, and younger students separated into different classes. In 1955, Fred and Evelyn Greenberg started Timber Ridge Camp in the beautiful Shenandoah

This four day ‘boot camp’ program is held in the heart of midtown Manhattan and is open to all girls ages 12-18. This exciting program introduces girls to the world of modeling and steps them through a series of workshops and challenges with top industry professionals. Your own photo shoot with a TOP fashion photographer, portfolio AND pictures are all included in your session fee! The program culminates at the end of the week with girls meeting with top industry scouts from Elite Model Management, Wilhelmina, MTV, Seventeeen , Magazine and many more! PERFORMANCE CAMP
We focus on improving camper’s music and performance skills through a combination of music theory, instrumental technique and performance practice. The Performance Camp culminates in a rock performance for your friends and family.

Camp activities include:

• BAND REHEARSAL
When camp starts, students are assigned into bands and spend the week(s) working together to collaborate, create and perform. Students come together at camp to play under the instruction and direction of our staff of music professionals.

• CLINICS AND WORKSHOPS
Our staff of teachers put together a range of fun and engaging clinics and workshops for students. Each session will cover how to properly use and maintain gear, play with your peers, and put it all together in a band. Other topics may include instrument-specific workshops, industry “insider” tips & tricks, performance techniques, rock music history, and different musical styles such as rock, metal, and funk.

• DIY CREATIVITY
With help from our staff, students will create and produce their own band logo and t-shirts and promotional materials for their show at the end of camp.

We also offer special focus sessions within our Performance Camps for students with particular interests or skill levels.

• BEGINNER
For students that can play but have never been in a band setting.

• INTERMEDIATE/ADVANCED
For those who are beyond beginner stages or have played in a band before

• ARTIST-THEMED
Specifically focus on the music of a legendary band or historical music event like The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Live Aid, and Woodstock.

We offer performance camp in one and two week sessions.

Summer camps are environments that are rich for developing friendships during childhood years. Some children have difficulty establishing meaningful realtionships due to developmental challenges. Our camp is dedicated to providing an opportunity for children ages: 3-5 years to lay the foundation for successful peer interactions.

The Camp is presented in a unique arrangement with fashion industry professionals who offer one-on-one instruction. Based at Splashlight Miami, Geddes has taken his longtime experience in the exciting world of fashion and developed a unique, weeklong behind-the-scenes experience for those who aspire to work in the fashion industry. Program focuses on fashion photography, modeling, make-up, hair, styling and magazine publishing.

The PlayGround Theatre's talented company members will lead students on a fun-filled artistic adventure. Students explore self-expression and work together to develop an original production for the camp's final performance.

For a unique experience of immersion into French language and culture, the Alliance Francaise of Miami offers Summer camp designed for children (5 to 11) and teenagers (11 to 17). 'Total immersion in language learning enables children to see and feel the language in its natural environment' said Muriel Piquet-Viaux, responsible for this program. 'Through activities, children live the language, see expressions, words and phrases in context. Learning a foreign language should stimulate the entire fulfillment of the children'.
As the reference for the promotion of the French language and French-speaking cultures, the Alliance Francaise is above all well known worldwide for its academic excellence. It promotes total immersion in a friendly atmosphere as the best way to learn and understand a foreign language.
During these Summer Camp, children and teenagers will be immersed in the French language through workshops and activities like dance, games, museums, sports, field trips, theater and culinary with a chef. Courses focus on conversation, reading and writing in French. Groups are organized by levels and ages. Some courses are designed specifically for French speaking or bilingual students.

Fashion Rocks Miami,Inc is hosting Summer Fashion Camp to introduce children and teens alike to the inside world of fashion. If you child is an aspiring Fashion Designer,Stylist, or all around Fashionista/Style Icon, then this Camp is for him/her. With special appearances by fashion designers, stylist,models, merchandisers and photographers we will give your child a glimpse of the behind the scenes fashion world. Our curriculum will allow students to develop a fashion brand, visit art galleries/showrooms, fashion studios, and the basic fundamentals of sewing and textiles. We will even explore Fashion Blogs. Campers will work with Industry Experts and get a first hand look at Miami's up and coming Fashion Elite.
