At Pine Crest Summer Programs we offer a diverse selection of programs from which to choose. Your child can participate in a variety of “specialty camps” on our 20 acre campus located in the heart of Boca Raton, FL. Choose from Fine Arts, Band, Sports, KidVenture, Tennis, Leap Ahead, Digital Storytelling or our Swim Camp. From the Field to the Stage we've got it all!

All activities are directed by adult professional teachers and coaches. Each program has a dedicated swim time & enjoys indoor and outdoor activities. A daily hot or cold lunch is also provided. PERFORMANCE CAMP
We focus on improving camper’s music and performance skills through a combination of music theory, instrumental technique and performance practice. The Performance Camp culminates in a rock performance for your friends and family.

Camp activities include:

• BAND REHEARSAL
When camp starts, students are assigned into bands and spend the week(s) working together to collaborate, create and perform. Students come together at camp to play under the instruction and direction of our staff of music professionals.

• CLINICS AND WORKSHOPS
Our staff of teachers put together a range of fun and engaging clinics and workshops for students. Each session will cover how to properly use and maintain gear, play with your peers, and put it all together in a band. Other topics may include instrument-specific workshops, industry “insider” tips & tricks, performance techniques, rock music history, and different musical styles such as rock, metal, and funk.

• DIY CREATIVITY
With help from our staff, students will create and produce their own band logo and t-shirts and promotional materials for their show at the end of camp.

We also offer special focus sessions within our Performance Camps for students with particular interests or skill levels.

• BEGINNER
For students that can play but have never been in a band setting.

• INTERMEDIATE/ADVANCED
For those who are beyond beginner stages or have played in a band before

• ARTIST-THEMED
Specifically focus on the music of a legendary band or historical music event like The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Live Aid, and Woodstock.

We offer performance camp in one and two week sessions.

At A Kids Gym we offer preschool summer camp and school age summer camp. We offer half days for preschool or full time for both school age and preschool. Age ranges are between 2 and 14. Each week here at A Kids Gym is themed and will be carried out throughout the week. For example:(tentative) Strut your Stuff week School age will go to Sea World and bowling this week.Bring your kids out and have a great time.

Summer Drama Day camps are devoted to building self-esteem and self-confidence via the path of theatre and/or film related performance and technical skills.

Camps are broken down into age appropriate categories offering opportunities to perform, dance, act, sing and work backstage at whatever level a camper is comfortable.

Determined by the camp, a camper may perform in a musical, learn the skills of being a film actor, writer, director or, for the little ones, get used to being in front of people via a class just for them. All camps have a performance.

With over 15 years of expereince, the Summer Drama Camp is a valuable option for your childs summer camp experience!

New this year Patrick Sweet is our music director. He holds 3 degrees in Music from FSU and NYU ( New York ), 20 years of music education experience from elementary to College and has worked as a professional touring musical theatre performer. School of Rock Summer Camp, in Orlando, helps musicians or non-musicians who are starting out make that dream become a reality. We put together like-minded people at the same levels of experience, provide exciting music for them to play, and match them with a professional musician/teacher who helps them practice their set for a live performance.

It all culminates with a PERFORMANCE where your child takes center stage to live out their musical dreams in front of friends and family. Performances will be held weekly during all Summer Camp sessions every Fridays!

The performances will take place on a HUGE stage with a phenomenal lighting system, lasers, fog/haze machines, and a PROFESSIONAL sound system for your kids to JAM out on and to perform the songs they have learned.

Discount Music Center's School of Rock Summer Campstudents learn music by making music. They start playing on the first day and improve daily as individual musicians and as a band.

Day Camp for children ages 5 to 11. Camp is focused in individual success and only accepts a maximum of 16 children/day. Campers have daily classes in Music, Arts, Yoga, Dance and Self Defense. We also teach how to make good nutritional and environmental choices by keeping a Creative eco-friendly journal from our amazing field trips!

A talent show to promote Camper's Achievements is presented at end of every "two weeks-attendance" sessions.

Music Makers Camp is about working with every child to find the best way for them to express "their creative ability to enrich their lives and community".

Summer Music Mini-Camp: Beginners & experienced both welcomed. Learn different instruments (guitar, piano, drums, wind, strings) & vocals, create musical arts & crafts and play musical computer & board games. Perform mini-concert for parents at the end of each week!

Summer Music Mini-Institute: Ensemble opportunties for experienced students. Beginners also welcomed (guitar/bass, piano/keyboard, drums/percussion, wind, strings). Includes music appreciation, music theory & music composition. Contest for the best new song!

Children in kindergarten through second grade can develop an early awareness of rhythm, movement, singing and drama during the Tell Me a Tale with Grow and Sing Studios summer camp at the University Unitarian Universalist Society. The lesson features a new tale from around the world, explored through multi-instrument and multi-cultural elements each day. It's an around-the-imagination adventure of stories from Europe, Malaysia, South Africa and other cultures. Each day children will participate in music, drama and art class. Home materials are included, which feature the Tell Me a Tale book, a CD, a pair of lummi sticks and a poster. Art supplies, a snack and five free plays are also included. Children must be potty trained. Please contact Tell Me a Tale with Grow and Sing Studios if any child older than seven wants to participate.
