COURSES
DMA offers day and overnight courses in weekly and multi-week sessions for youth, age 7-18. DMA courses accommodate a wide variety of digital media interests in a more sophisticated learning environment than other summer computer camps. All courses are project based and taught by accomplished professionals who have a passion for inspiring young minds. An average student to instructor ratio of 6 to 1 allows for plenty of individual attention as students explore, create and immerse themselves in an environment that is more like a production studio than a classroom.

THE TEEN EXPERIENCE
DMA’s teen courses for 2009 include Robotics, Digital Filmmaking, 3D Animation, Web Production, Programming, and Music and Video Production - just to name a few.
Teens may commute or stay on campus in university housing. Separate DMA couselor staff live in the dorm coordinating evening and weekend activities while ensuring a fun and safe experience for everyone. Teens living on campus receive breakfast, lunch and dinner in a university dining hall. Commuting students may purchase a dining hall lunch pass or buy their own lunch at one of several restaurants on campus.

THE YOUTH EXPERIENCE
DMA’s 2009 youth courses (called Digital Media Adventures) include Robotics, Digital Filmmaking, Game Creation, Web Design & Flash, Cartoon & Comic Book Creation and Surfing & Filmmaking. To create a more balanced experience, we incorporate outdoor recreation breaks throughout the day – we beleive, like you, that kids should move! Additional activities, such as sports, board games and weekend adventures are offered to youth in our residential program.

The YMCA Camp Indian Springs is a traditional YMCA residential camping program serving children ages 7 to 16 years with exciting options like an indoor skate park, BMX, ATVs, paintball as well as Western and English horseback riding. Celebrating our 33rd year in 2008 and built on the Christian heritage of the YMCA, we value honesty, caring, respect and responsibility.

Camp Extreme Tours is a co-ed traveling summer camp for teenagers ages 13-17, that includes heart-pounding activities such as off-road ATV trail riding, down-hill mountain biking, whitewater rafting, rock climbing, hanggliding, skateboarding, and other extreme adventures!

Instead of traveling to different activity locations in a school bus, van, or passenger coach, campers ride in style and comfort on our two new 45-foot state-of-the-art luxury tour buses. Campers will have a true rock-star traveling experience with access to satellite TV, DVD, video games, internet, and their own private bunk with a personal television.

Based out of Tallahassee, FL, our program allows campers to travel from the Southeastern U.S. to unique northern areas; such as the New River Gorge and Snowshoe Mountain.
