Camp Kingfisher at the Chattahoochee Nature Center: A combination of environmental education mixed with traditional camp activities for children in kindergarten to 9th grade. Camp will increase your child’s awareness and understanding of nature in a safe, fun and stimulating environment. Sessions take a closer look at the natural world through ecological and environmental science education. Campers participate in exciting activities such as pond studies, water science experiments and insect identification. All sessions also feature time-honored camp activities including swimming, canoeing, arts & crafts, hiking, games and much more. Throw in elective skills classes, live animal demonstrations, professional musical entertainment and 127 acres of beautiful nature and you have a summer your child will never forget!

Camp Kingfisher is also a flexible choice for busy families. Camp offers one and two week options in June July & August with both full day and half day sessions available. Supervised pre-camp and post-camp care is included in the price of camp and can extend a day from 8am to 6:15pm. In this camp, boys and girls plan and participate in activities as a group, learning to take responsibility and accomplish projects together. This camp offers activities like swimming, archery, sports, arts and crafts, cookouts, weekly field trips, and service projects for the community.
