Camp Conestoga, owned and operated by Girl Scouts of the Eastern Iowa and Western Illinois, is located in eastern Iowa about 25 miles northwest of Davenport. The camp is situated on 340 rolling, wooded acres. Conestoga is home to hiking and horseback riding trails, a prairie, a lake, an archery range, a sand volleyball court, a low ropes course, and a zipline. Facilities include a dining hall, swimming pool and shower house, trading post (camp store), health center, and living units including cabins, platform tents, teepees and primitive areas. 3, 4, 6, 10, and 13 day programs offered Sunday-Friday, June-August. Some specialty programs run 9+ nights. Regardless of theme, programs give girls opportunities to explore the world around them, build a sense of community and an appreciation of nature, develop new skills and self-confidence, and have fun. Caring and dedicated staff team. Scholarships available. Non-Girl Scouts welcome.
