Located in the beautiful Flint Hills of KS, Camp Wood YMCA offers traditional and specialty camps for youth between 6 ad 17. Our overall camper to staff ratio of 1:5 allows for quality programming and individual attention as campers enjoy every day of their Camp Wood YMCA experience.

In the mornings, 6- to 9-year-olds experience the Best of Camp while campers 10 and older participate in a skill-building session and develop new skills with the help of a knowledgeable, supportive instructor. During the second morning activity rotation, all of our campers participate in a recreational activity of their choosing. Each afternoon at camp, cabin groups of eight kids and one counselor participate in activities together.

Evening programs consist of fun-filled age-appropriate activities like camp outs, all camp games and campfires!

Leaderships program designed especially for teens to increase their understanding of the world around them.

All camper participate in Horseback trail rides, Alpine climbing tower (ages 10 and up), Mud slide, Fishing, The “Jim” waterslide, Arts and Crafts, Campfires, Campout, Nature Hikes and Activities, Outdoor cooking, and much more!

BROADWAY AT BETHEL is a fun-filled and intense week of instruction in vocal music, dance, acting techniques and technical stage work. MUSIC CAMP AT BETHEL, led by talented faculty and guests, invites both vocal and instrumental musicians to participate in a number of specialty groups, including choirs, band or orchestra, jazz band and chamber music. Bethel's SUMMER SCIENCE INSTITUTE offers unique opportunities to participate in research investigations in a number of areas of science, including biology, psychology, astronomy, mathematics, chemistry, computer science and environmental science. The MONEY$KILLS CAMP helps students learn more about saving, spending, investing, and understanding money. Bethel also offers SPORTS CAMPS throughout the summer.
