1. Camp Wood YMCA - Located in the beautiful Flint HIlls of KS, Camp Wood YMCA offers Traditional and Speciality Camp sessions for youth between 6 and 17 all summer long.

Located in the beautiful Flint Hills of KS, Camp Wood YMCA offers traditional and specialty camps for children and young adults, ages 6 to 17. Our overall camper to staff ratio of 1:5 allows for quality programming and individual attention as campers enjoy every day of their Camp Wood YMCA experience.

Our focus is to provide fun new experiences for today's youth to interact with one another and strengthen the universal values of Caring, Respect, Responsability, and Honesty.

Horseback riding, Alpine climbing tower (ages 10 and up), Mud slide, Fishing, The “Jim” Waterslide, Arts and Crafts, Campout, Nature Hikes and Activities, and Outdoor Cooking, are only a few of the activities we use to achive this goal.

We have Leadership Programs designed specifically for young teens to help them discover thier personal strenghts and how to foster them to become the leaders of tomorrow.

Our staff are recruited from a variety of universities and from around the world. The go through an extensive application process, background check, and indepth week long training to prepare them for the challenges of the summer.

BROADWAY AT BETHEL is a fun-filled and intense week of instruction in vocal music, dance, acting techniques and technical stage work. MUSIC CAMP AT BETHEL, led by talented faculty and guests, invites both vocal and instrumental musicians to participate in a number of specialty groups, including choirs, band or orchestra, jazz band and chamber music. Bethel's SUMMER SCIENCE INSTITUTE offers unique opportunities to participate in research investigations in a number of areas of science, including biology, psychology, astronomy, mathematics, chemistry, computer science and environmental science. The MONEY$KILLS CAMP helps students learn more about saving, spending, investing, and understanding money. Bethel also offers SPORTS CAMPS throughout the summer.
