Summer camp at Tanglewood is filled with the wonderful energy of young people living and playing together outdoors. Our summer programs emphasize community living, respect for others, fun, safety, responsibility and the joy of being a part of the natural world. Whether it’s Day or Residential Camp, Discovery Trips or Teen Leadership Programs, our campers make friends and feel good knowing they can just be themselves. UMaine's Cooperative Extension outreach programs and its 4H activities are designed for youth. Tanglewood's camp adventures and public school programs are based on "Earth Connections," nature discovery that helps youth become creative stewards of an interconnected world.

Our programs are affiliated with the University of Maine Cooperation Extension. We are also American Camp Association (ACA) accredited.
