1. Camp Fernwood - Nurturing tolerance, unselfishness, and an appreciation of a simpler life in the out-of-doors. Our full season provides girls with enough time to experience new challenges, enhance self confidence, develop activity skills, and establish enduring friendships in safe, beautiful surroundings. Campers participate in an elective program of activities, chosen with the guidance of parents and camp staff.
Resident Camp - All Girls - Poland, Maine

Founded in 1921, Camp Fernwood is a traditional, overnight camp for girls in Poland, Maine. The Fernwood family is known for its warm atmosphere and concern for each child. Campers and mature staff live together in a beautiful, rustic setting, with many opportunities for friendships, learning and play.

Nurturing tolerance, unselfishness, and an appreciation of a simpler life in the out-of-doors. Our full season provides girls with enough time to experience new challenges, enhance self confidence, develop activity skills, and establish enduring friendships in safe, beautiful surroundings. Fernwood is not divided into sections, for we are, in essence, one family, building community spirit through the contributions of each of our girls.

With the guidance of parents and camp staff, campers choose an elective program of activities. Older campers may specialize in a specific activity. Expert instruction is offered in all activities,

Activities include: swimming, canoeing, sailing, windsurfing, waterskiing, kayaking, tennis, gymnastics, aerobics, English riding, archery, riflery, soccer, softball, field hockey, volleyball, drama, music, dance, crafts, ceramics, woodworking, silver jewelry, drawing, painting, photography, and rock climbing. The tripping program includes weekly day trips for all campers, as well as extended white water canoe and kayak, bike, mountain hiking, and rock climbing trips.

2. Easter Seals Camping Program - Easter Seals Camp operates at Agassiz Village in Maine. The program is designed for campers with disabilities who enjoy summer recreational activities side-by-side with their peers.
Resident Camp - Coed - Poland, Maine

Agassiz Village : All camp activities at Agassiz Village are facilitated in an accessible environment and include youth with and without disabilities. Agassiz Village is located in West Poland, Maine (150 miles north of Boston), it encompasses 600 acres of fields, hills, streams and woodland with three miles of waterfront on Thompson Lake. Camp activities include swimming, challenge courses, archery, arts and crafts, nature hikes, sports, drama activities and much more.
Teen Leadership program: Teenagers ages 14-17 can apply to participate in our teen leadership program at Agassiz Village. In this program teens can experience working, and earning paycheck, while at camp. Teens work in support staff roles in a structured program that promotes lifetime leadership skills and independent living skills.
Explorers Session: This overnight camp session at Agassiz Village is geared toward the needs of youth with autism spectrum disorders and other social challenges. Camp activities are facilitated in small group settings amongst a high staff to camper ratio to allow for maxim participation. Siblings of campers with disabilities are welcome to attend during this session

3. Camp North Star - Camp North Star is a premier New England half and full season camp program Accredited by ACA.
Resident Camp - Family Camp / Retreat - Coed - Poland Spring, Maine

Camp North Star offers a traditional resident camp experience blended with a relaxed and sensitive camp culture that encourages each camper’s personal growth. A diverse community with international campers and staff from more than 15 countries promotes a sense of global consciousness among all campers.

Our full and half season program is designed to give campers plenty of activity choices to explore their interests, strengthen their skills and provide them plenty of time to play, rest and reflect.

Located on 200 acres of towering pines and dramatic rock outcroppings, the camp surrounds a private lake and features newly renovated cabins, an arts center, theatre, dance studio, a small animal farm, tennis courts, athletic fields, riding stables and miles of trails.

Our beautiful campus provides the backdrop for a full range of traditional program choices in the arts, including theatre, dance, and music; as well as some unique visual arts such as pottery, stained glass, fabric arts, sculpture, jewelry, and painting. For campers who enjoy outdoor challenge and adventure, there is rock-climbing, hiking, challenge ropes course, and canoe trips. The waterfront activities include swimming, water-skiing, canoeing, and sailing. Sports activities include basketball, volleyball, soccer, tennis, martial arts, and golf. Group activities in the evening and on special days round out the busy schedule.
