Snowy Owl is a small, private camp on a 9 mile lake in Maine, perfect for our water sports program. We are primarily a water ski camp, with instruction for beginners to advanced.

Activities include skiing, sailing, kayaking, windsurfing, swimming, water trampoline, banana boating, and relaxing!

We have an all girls camp, and separate programs for all adults and families. We are truly unique, with a gorgeous location and great skiing. Don't ski? Doesn't matter. Whether you come to ski, learn to ski, or just relax on the water, we are your perfect summer vacation.

2. Med-O-Lark Camp - Med-O-Lark Camp is a 4 week program with 275 middle school youth from across the nation. Our program focuses on many genres of dance, theater arts, over 15 crafts courses, varied levels of tennis, waterskiing, and equestrian arts.
Resident Camp - Coed - Washington, Maine

Med-O-Lark excels in the visual and performing arts, and offers the most extensive crafts, dance and theater courses of any youth camp in New England. Professional artists and performers commute to camp or live at camp to augment our teaching staff. All of our counselors are hired because of the skills they have in their particular area. Many of the counselors are majoring in art, dance, theater, or music, and most of them are in their junior or senior year of college. However, our waterfront program is excellent too. Campers choose and arrange their own activity schedules from the many activities offered at every skill level. Med-O-Lark also offers a dance program which is quite sophisticated. We offer 20 classes in dance each day, taught in 4 dance studios with 6 teachers, as well as an opportunity to participate in our Dance Track program.

Campers at Med-O-Lark are ages 11-15 (or going into 6th grade through going into 10th grade). Since we concentrate on this five-year span of ages, we can offer activities that particularly interest this age group. Because of this concentrated age span, campers don't have an opportunity to return for years and years. This means that the majority of campers each summer are NEW to Med-O-Lark and that it is easy to make friends and feel comfortable at camp since so many other campers are in the same boat.

Med-O-Lark differs from other camps by limiting the age group at camp, offering non-competitive activities, and allowing campers to choose their own activities. Med-O-Lark does not have a uniform nor does it engage campers in color wars, target sports or other militaristic activities.

Med-O-Lark Camp offers charter bus service from New York City, NY, Greenwich, CT, and Newton, MA and arranges group flights to and from Chicago, Fort Lauderdale, Atlanta, and Washington, DC into Portland, Maine.

3. Camp Wekeela for Boys and Girls - Our staff works very hard all year long to make sure that camp is truly exceptional for every child. Look at the pictures from our website. Study the smiling faces and envision what the Wekeela summer experience has in store for you. We cannot wait for next summer.
Resident Camp - Coed - Hartford, Maine

I am often asked, "What sets our camp apart from other camps?" Well, I tell people...Wekeela is gorgeous, the campers are fantastic, our facilities are top notch, the lake has pristine waters, and there is magic at Wekeela. Yes, we have great campers-after all, the apple does not fall from the tree. Our staff is the grand equalizer. We are so privileged to have dedicated men and women return year after year to the shores of Little Bear Pond. They return because they love Wekeela, they love Maine. They return because they understand what camp is about. It's about being a role model to children. It is about being a teacher, it is about having tremendous FUN. Our staff affects, shapes, and defines our campers' summer like no other individual. Our staff understands that Wekeela is not just camp, it's a way of life."
