1. Art in the Country - Art in the Country features art and craft projects to keep everyone busy and creative this summer. Projects include mosaics, claywork and nature inspired art.
Day Camp - Coed - All Girls - Laytonsville, Maryland

Art in the Country with Something Earthy Pottery Studio and Old Sage Farm will keep your children active and creative. But don’t worry… the learning doesn’t end just because it’s summer! While your children are experiencing different art and craft projects, they will learn about them, too. We won’t just mosaic an item, we will learn the history associated with mosaics, the “real” way to mosaic and about the medium we use to mosaic. We now offer one and two week sessions with coed and girls only sessions available.
Your children will benefit from their time in the country! They will enjoy 24 acres at Old Sage Farm and 35 acres at Something Earthy Pottery Studio!
Your children will never be “bored” with clay crafts, mosaics, tie-dye, suncathers and so much more!

2. Camp Superkids - Camp for Maryland Children with Asthma
Resident Camp - Coed - Laytonsville, Maryland

Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical offers a week long residential camp for children within the state of Maryland with asthma. The ages of the children are 7 1/2 to 12 years of age. Each group will have a medical professional as a group leader with one to two additional medical staff per group. Each group size is between 12 to 15 kids with four to five counselors. During the day the kids will participate in a variety of traditional camp activities including: arts and crafts, swimming, playground, confidence building, team building, nature activities, karate, fishing, etc... Along with all of the traditional camp activities they will participate in a daily session of Asthma Education taught by the medical professionals. By the end of the week the kids will have a better knowledge of their asthma, better self confidence, and feeling more confident that they are not alone.
