THE DMA EXPERIENCE

Founded in 2002 by technology educators from Stanford University, and led by former Stanford educators and interactive education and entertainment creators from Apple and Walt Disney Studios - Digital Media Academy delivers a world-class digital learning experience.

Learn video game design, iPhone and iPad App development, Google Android app development, robotics, computer programming using Java or C+++, digital filmmaking, digital photography, website design, 3D modeling, animation and so much more.

Beginning to advanced student campers age 6-18 learn by doing with hands-on instruction from industry professionals, with real-world experience. DMA builds and develops STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) skills - many of DMA’s instructors have literally written the book on the subject that they teach. DMA Alumni include television and music producers, filmmakers, professional photographers as well as game and app developers.

At DMA, students experience life on the campus of a prestigious American university like Stanford, Harvard or UCLA (just to name a few) while making friends and learning with others who share the same interests. What goes on behind the scenes? You'll learn about how props, sets, and costumes help to tell stories. You’ll also learn about prop and set construction.


Final Performance
During each three week camp session, SOS campers develop, write, and rehearse their own
ORIGINAL PLAYS. This culminates with a final performance for a live audience of family and friends.

BIMA at Brandeis University - BIMA is a residential summer arts program at Brandeis University for teens currently in grades 9-11 who are serious about advancing their artistic skills in a creative, diverse Jewish community. BIMA offers majors in chamber music, choral music, jazz, painting, creative writing, and acting.

BIMA at Brandeis University is the first residential summer arts institute of its kind for high school students to advance their artistic interests and skills within a Jewish context. BIMA offers an intensive arts opportunity for young people. The program runs from July 2-30 at Brandeis University in Waltham, Massachusetts, just 9 miles west of Boston. BIMA cultivates a vibrant, pluralistic environment for participants to develop artistic skills, to deepen their Jewish knowledge, and to ask questions about the intersection of their identity as Jews and young people committed to the arts.

Our program is geared towards teenagers (currently in grades 9-11) who are dedicated to the arts and interested in Jewish life.

BIMA participants will enjoy:

-advancing their skills in chamber ensemble, jazz, and choral music, painting, creative writing, and acting with professional artists.

-attending world-class cultural events in Boston and the Berkshires in Western Massachusetts.

-focusing on their artistic development, finding new ways to engage Jewish life, and discovering the points where these two passions intersect.

The Gloucester Museum School Project Adventure Summer Camp offers a unique experience for all the children involved. The open spaces of Essex County serve as a backdrop for young people to learn to appreciate and understand the natural resources of their community. In addition campers experience adventure games, problem solving, ropes course, rock climbing, hiking, dory rowing and camping as a vehicle to learn and appreciate themselves through non-competitive personal challenge.

The camp staff uses beaches and other natural and historical areas throughout Essex County in order for our campers participate in the unique activities our community has to offer. GMS draws on the estuarine environment behind Wingaersheek beach to involve participants in a variety of different physical challenges and educational activities including: adventure games and problem solving, ropes course, rock climbing, hiking, dory rowing, and camping.

ASA has been offering its outstanding University of Massachusetts-Amherst College Prep program since 1984. We provide hands-on enrichment and college credit courses such as psychology, writing, photography, SAT Prep with The Princeton Review, arts and tennis. Classes are kept to maximum of 12 students to ensure personalized attention and interaction. After classes, our team of dedicated resident assistants organize sports, arts and other fun activities. Students can also sign up for mini-clinics ranging from lifeguarding to leadership training. On weekends, there is a full schedule of trips to Boston, Cape Cod and Newport, as well as main attractions, museums, concerts, sports events. Students interested in learning more about college admissions can sign up for our counseling workshops and Boston college visits.
