Campers create their own experience by choosing one of 11 adventure themes- such as Mission to Mars, Team F1, Medieval, and Fashion Designer, to name a few- to develop a story for their project. Then they combine technology applications to make their visions reality. Project plans and tutorials help teach about programming and design, and our trained instructors guide all campers in projects that suit their age, interests, and skill level to ensure a fun and rewarding experience for everyone. The Young Artist Residency Program 2010 at The Art Institute of Boston at Lesley University in Cambridge, Massachusetts is designed for high school students who will be entering their junior or senior year in the Fall of 2010. This intensive program of four-weeks of classes and art-making during July is designed to offer a professional art college experience while living on campus.

A student who applies and is selected to attend will:

*Select a full schedule of classes from over 50 exciting course offerings in the areas of Artistry, Technology, and Professions in the Visual Arts
*Discover Boston, a beautiful world-class city rich in history, the arts, nearby beaches, and consistently ranked #1 of the "Big City College Towns"
*Join a thriving art college community
*Receive 6 college credits for successful completion of courses and enrichment activities
*Earn incentives for applying and enrolling in AIB as a college choice

*Learn the high-tech side of art-making by gaining experience with state-of-the-art computer software and hardware
