ASA has been offering its outstanding University of Massachusetts-Amherst College Prep program since 1984. We provide hands-on enrichment and college credit courses such as psychology, writing, photography, SAT Prep with The Princeton Review, arts and tennis. Classes are kept to maximum of 12 students to ensure personalized attention and interaction. After classes, our team of dedicated resident assistants organize sports, arts and other fun activities. Students can also sign up for mini-clinics ranging from lifeguarding to leadership training. On weekends, there is a full schedule of trips to Boston, Cape Cod and Newport, as well as main attractions, museums, concerts, sports events. Students interested in learning more about college admissions can sign up for our counseling workshops and Boston college visits. ASA also offers College Prep programs at Oxford (UK), Emory University and UC-Berkeley; College Admissions programs at Columbia U, Tufts U and UC-Santa Barbara; and Study Abroad in Spain, France and Italy. Our camps are Intensive Tennis, Soccer, Golf, Lacrosse and Softball camps. Campers are always busy! 5 to 6 hrs. of professional sports instruction per day ensures that your child will improve their game. Our campers not only work hard during the day, they enjoy themselves! Every night we have supervised field trips throughout the Boston area.

Our sports camps are primarily concerned that each student be treated as a person of integrity and worth, and that values that he develops on the tennis court, soccer field, or golf course be carried into his daily life.

At The Marcus Lewis Day Camp, campers can specialize in artistic, athletic and even technology based activities that are specifically aligned with their own interests. Teens choose individually while juniors choose with their group. There are more than 100 rotating activities that are available at various times during the summer and they are taught by professionals. We are one of the only day camps to utilize a staff that is comprised entirely of adults. Our 5:1 camper/counselor ratio is based on personnel over the age of 18; we do not use counselors-in-training (CITs).

Additionally we offer a number of specialty camps: horseback, drama, tennis, sewing/scrapboking, climbing, cooking, golf and day trip adventures.

The camp operates its own buses and offers transportation service from as far east as Cambridge, north to Chelmsford, west to Leominster and south to Marlborough.
