Inspire a passion for science in your child! New activities every year, over 40 locations and four different kinds of camps in Minnesota!
Kids participate in each of these activities every day:
I Can Invent - Use real tools to take apart old appliances and see how they work, then create a model of your own invention. Older campers participate in a Rube Goldberg team challenge.
Fair Games –Learn about probability and other math concepts by building your own carnival games
The Lost Treasure – Overcome the challenges on a volcanic island to discover a hidden treasure
Action and Adventure Games – Use upcycled materials and teamwork to create your own exciting new games!
Directed and taught by qualified local educators, Camp Invention is a national STEM enrichment program from the nonprofit Invent Now. Activities also focus on developing 21st Century learning skills such as teamwork, critical thinking skills, decision-making, creative problem-solving, and working through failure.
