WHY IS THIS CAMP THE BEST KICKING FOOTBALL CAMP IN THE USA? My son learned more from Chris Kluwe than he did from his high school football coach in one year. Chris Kluwe was a clutch punter at UCLA and is a clutch punter for the Minnesota Vikings now. I think it is great that he takes time to share his knowledge and skill with young kickers and punters. Chris gives each camper very personalized instruction in kicking & punting. In addition to Chris, he has simply an amazing staff lined up for this summer’s camps including All-Pro Chip Lohmiller. Chip was the University of Minnesota’s all-time leading scorer and with the Washington Redskins, he scored more points than any other player in the NFL. I Can Invent: Fantasy Inventions and Complicated Machines II - Use real tools to take apart old appliances and see how they work, then create a model of your own invention. Older campers participate in a Rube Goldberg team challenge.
Wild Blue Y’Under – Build vehicles that travel by land, sea, and air to deliver secret documents on a cross-continent trip
Tape Me to Your Leader – Learn about structural engineering and design a command center to communicate with aliens
Solve It: The Missing Inventor’s Log – Recreate and analyze a crime scene to find out whodunit
Recess Remix - Creative outdoor games

Directed and taught by qualified local educators, Camp Invention is a national, non-profit science enrichment program from the National Inventors Hall of Fame Foundation in partnership with the United States Patent and Trademark Office.

Vertical Endeavors Rock Climbing Camp offers children ages 8 to 17 the opportunity to learn proper climbing techniques in a controlled and fun atmosphere. Activities include toprope climbing, belaying, bouldering, knot tying, rappeling and climbing games. In addition to our focus on fun, all of our camps promote an awareness and an understanding of the importance of safety. Your child will leave camp with a sense of self-reliance and accomplishment, as well as a deeper respect for safety in the sport of rock climbing.
