Upon arrival, campers are greeted in their chosen foreign lanugage and issued a "passport" with their adopted new name. Then they open a Swiss bank accout--from which they may withdraw foreign currency to buy imported snacks from the camp store.
Counselors and Program Directors are foreign language teachers, native speakers, or college students who speak the language. Most have experienced travel to pertinent countries or have lived in another culture. | |
