Whether it's science, language, computers, or environmental/nature studies; academic summer camps provide an environment conducive to learning across various subject matter or disciplines. 3. Robotics Summer Camp at The College of New Jersey - Fundamentals and Advanced Robotics Camp sessions at The College of New Jersey. Campers have a competition and win awards at the end of each session. Campers can sign up for one or both sessions.

High School freshmen, sophomores and juniors are invited to apply for an intensive 1 week or 2 weeks summer Robotics Camp offered by the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at The College of New Jersey (TCNJ), and sponsored by the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) and GameX.
The intent of the camp is to motivate the most creative minds of a new generation of prospective Electrical and Computer Engineers to become global leaders in an increasingly technological world. The program aims to create a community of students who participate in and contribute to an intensive and powerful academic experience delivered by distinguished educators and professionals.
Camp participants will be introduced through a residential College academic experience to the exciting field of Electrical and Computer Engineering, and will learn topics not traditionally taught in High Schools such as Microcontroller Programming, Sensing Systems, Digital Electronics, Computer Vision, Virtual Simulations and more.
The participant will work with Electrical and Computer Engineering students and professors, and interact with professional engineers from the Industry.
TCNJ offers a superior learning environment, and these experiences take place in specialized laboratories.

Campers and parents may choose from our Traditional Camp programs, Environmental Trips for Challenge, Ranch Camp or our one-week Specialty Camps in sports, fine arts, sailing and windsurfing, or sailing on Lake George. 11. Stockton CSI - Stockton CSI is a residential summer camp for high school students who want hands-on experience with a criminal investigation, forensic science, and a trial.
Resident Camp - Coed - Pomona, New-Jersey

The Richard Stockton College of New Jersey invites high school students to be part of Stockton CSI, a residential summer camp for high school students who want hands-on experience with a criminal investigation and trial. Campers will work as part of an elite team of investigators and professionals to help solve a murder. They will be involved with every phase of the legal process, from the crime scene investigation to the criminal murder trial.

Stockton will offer two camps in the summer of 2007. Space is limited! Please register early!

14. Academic Institute at Oak Knoll School - Academic camp held July 10 - August 4, 2006, for girls entering grades 7-12.
Day Camp - All Girls - Summit, New-Jersey

The Academic Institute at Oak Knoll offers a four-week session from July 10 - August 4, 2006, to girls entering seventh through twelfth grade. Throughout these weeks, students will have the opportunity to explore Advanced Placement preview classes in biology, physics, Spanish and computer science and preview SAT courses in math. Courses in research writing, foreign languages, current events and poetry are also offered. Small group instruction and individual attention will provide an environment that is intellectually challenging. The ultimate goal of this program is to provide young women with the opportunity to develop and otherwise improve on academic, creative, and leadership skills. We hope that you will join us for what will prove to be a summer filled with stimulating discussions and thought-provoking challenges.

15. Storming Robots - True Robotics Experience. Workshops run by a year-round robotics institution for kids.

Storming Robots Technology Learning Lab is the ONLY authorized LEGO MINDSTORMS Center in N.J. We use hands-on exploration to offer fun and challenges for both novice and experts. We aim to inspire and help the children to explore the intricate world of artificial intelligence.

Children will build robots from scratch. Virtually, no two robots will be idential. They will also learn to perform structural programming to bring their robots alive as command.

We use intuitive computer software and award winning robotics learning tools. Our themed-based programs are integrated with computer science, engineering, math, teamwork and communication. We have received many positive feedbacks toward our captivating projects which not only offer fun and challenges, but also allow campers to exercise their imagination.

16. Cream Ridge Christian Camp - We exist to provide valuable opportunites for preteen and teen development through spiritual, social, educational and recreational activities in a fun Christian environment.

The camp runs from July 9th to August 17th in two-week specialized programs, for grades 4th-9th. The camp day starts at 8:30 a.m. and is filled with fun, educational activities until the close of the day at 4:30 p.m. Pre-camp and After-camp care is available for an extra fee.
