ProtecHockey Ponds Summer Camps are designed to be an off-season total player development and strengthening program for hockey players of all ages. Our camps have an “on” and “off-ice” hockey-specific program that gives players a competitive advantage and maximizes their physical performance through individual and group training. Each player will be evaluated both on and off the ice in order to gain insight into their individual skill set to better prepare their game for the upcoming season.

On and off ice programs are designed to improve every player’s level of skill regarding shooting, skating and stick handling. All participants are taught personally by Slava Kouroedov, Andy Gojdycz and the rest of coaching staff in a supportive learning environment. An enriched curriculum of skills based techniques is taught through individual attention and hands on instruction.

The West Essex YMCA Sports Day Camp is dedicated to the truly sports minded youngster. This camp gives our campers the opportunity to experience over 15 different sports from around the world in 3 weeks, plus group team building games and other fun activities.

Advanced Sports Camps offer the most professional, in depth coaching for a select number of sports. Our residential camps maintain a fun environment for young sports men and women to enhance their skills. It is also the only camp which offers guest coaching from top professionals, who can offer their expertise within coaching sessions and spend time answering questions about their sports and lifestyle.

At Advanced Sports Camps we welcome all levels of young sports men and women. We aim for them to have the opportunity to leave camp as stronger players in their chosen sports, whilst also having a lot of fun!!

Alongside the sports coaching, players will also get the chance to make some great new friends. We encourage all the players to mix with each other and often camp is the place where the players and staff make friends for life!!

After the campers have finished their specific coaching their will always be evening activities laid on. There is an opportunity to play sport in the evening with the Advanced Sports Camp coaches organizing fun games and tournament’s. You can also chill out watching a movie or play on computer games with your friends from camp. Make sure you are not to worn out as we will be on the field again the next morning!!
