At the Academy, parents and players have realized that "We Can Make The Difference." Players receive an intensive workout schedule that fits easily into our structured daily routine. We teach the Fundamentals of Hitting, Throwing, Fielding, and Basestealing. Players will select and take part in a Daily Position Workshop. We also include clinics on Speed Development. Players will also participate in Instructional Games on a daily basis. Coaching will stress defensive and offensive play with emphasis on team effort.

The hours are Monday - Friday 9:30am to 4:00pm. Door to Door bus service is available in Nassau, Suffolk, Queens, and Manhattan. Hot lunch and swimming are also available. Our program begins July 9th and runs through August 17th and players may choose 1 - 6 weeks of instruction.Players may attend consecutive weeks or enroll at various times during the summer. A record of their progress is maintained to insure each student's correct placement upon their return to the program.

This is our 33nd year of servicing players on Long Island and the NY Metropolitan area. Many of our students have gone on to play at the high school, college, and professional level.

Physical Education is an integral part of a youngster's development. At the Sports Academy, a young child can have a first-hand experience by being introduced to many different sports activities on a daily basis. Various motor skills and patterns of movement developed at an early age will help to increase coordination and athletic ability as your child grows and matures. We believe and have first hand knowledge and experience that children can be taught the meaning of teamwork, cooperation, and sharing through small group instruction. With our structured environment, each child can improve his skills while developing a positive feeling of confidence and a lifelong love of sports. In each sport area, children will find an experienced, caring, patient, and knowlegeable staff member. Our low ratio of coach to player (1:7) will ensure your child's personal attention.

Chelsea Piers, Manhattan's premier destination for youth sports, is home to 12 specialty sports camps for children and teens, ages 3 and older. While preschoolers practice ice skating and gymnastics in half-day camps, teens and tweens enjoy camps geared for the older set, including Urban Adventure Camp, Junior Golf Performance Camp, Hockey Acceleration Pre-Season Camp and Chelsea Piers BlueStreak summer training programs.

Summer Trails Day Camp & Baseball Camp is located on 20 picturesque and private acres in northern Westchester. Summer Trails has been providing a variety of quality programs designed to meet the individual needs of your child since 1974. At Summer Trails we offer a supervised fun-filled environment with positive role models where children can laugh and grow. Among our many attributes is a wildlife filled lake, two heated pools, nature trails, spacious ball fields, athletic and creative arts facilities, and two challenging climbing walls. Run by some of the most experienced coaches and respected former Clarkstown ballplayers, Pitch by Pitch Baseball is set in beautiful Congers Lake Memorial Park, through which campers have access to great indoor facilities and the park pool. The Pitch by Pitch coaching staff includes current Division 1 Iona College Head Assistant Coach Brandon Mann, former Florida-based NABA star John Bagatta, and youth baseball coach and Sport Psychology Consultant Greg Chertok.
