1. Frost Valley YMCA
- Frost Valley Adventure Trips are an opportunity for teens to make great friends, try new things, develop valuable life skills and have fun in a dynamic and safe environment. Whether through backcountry living, volunteer service, extreme activities or cultural exploration, we strive to create a community where everyone can gain leadership experience, acquire new skills and build healthy relationships with their peers and leaders.

Our trips are broken down into three categories.
Xtreme Xpeditions include some of the Adventure Trip Standards. If you love canoeing, Boots n’ Boats takes you to the Adirondacks for two weeks of backpacking and canoing. If you love canoeing, white water rafting, backpacking, biking, kayaking or climbing, one of the trips in this category will have the combination of activities that will be right for you.
Our Service Learning Adventures offer three trips partnered with Habitat for Humanity™ to build, landscape and create a home where a deserving family can start a new life. Gain the community service hours that many high school’s require for graduation, add to your college resume, and most importantly, make great friends and learn new skills while giving a part of yourself to service. (Must be 14 years or older to participate.)
In addition, we have put together a whole new kind of trip with our Action Sports Adventures. Imagine two weeks of California surfing and sea kayaking, climbing at New York’s very own Shawangunks during the 1-week Rocks and Ropes trip or mountain boarding, skateboarding, and mountain biking while on the Frost Valley Action Sports Tour. All trips are designed to give you the opportunity to learn, challenge yourself and have fun whether you are a seasoned veteran, or trying it for the first time. | |
