Camp Description:
Located in the beautiful foothills of the Berkshires, Camp Schodack offers an active summer experience for our 135 boys and 135 girls. Known for our warmth, tradition and spirit, new campers quickly feel "at home". Schodack has been family-owned and operated since its creation, and “Paul and the head staff know each child personally. We have a large, caring and well-trained staff of 140 counselors, many of whom were campers at Schodack themselves.
What you need to know:
• 2:1 camper to staff ratio
• 3 or 4 bunk staff per bunk
• 85%+ bunk staff are former Schodack campers
• 3.5 and 7 week sessions
• Daily mixture of structure (6 required periods) and choice (3 periods)
• Excellent sports instruction and athletic facilities
• We keep camp simple (limited electronics, no video games, cell phones, etc)
• Bully free – an amazingly friendly place
