At the Academy, parents and players have realized that "We Can Make The Difference." Players receive an intensive workout schedule that fits easily into our structured daily routine. Initially all players are grouped by age and then regrouped by ability. We teach the Fundamentals of Hitting, Throwing, Fielding, and Basestealing. Players will select and take part in a Daily Position Workshop. We also include clinics on Speed Development. Players also participate in Instructional Games on a daily basis. Coaches will stress defensive and offensive play with an emphasis on team effort.

The hours are Monday - Friday 9:30am to 4:00pm. Door to Door bus service is available in Nassau, Suffolk, Queens, and Manhattan. Hot lunch and swimming are also available. Our program begins July 11th and runs through August 19th. Players may choose 1 to 6 weeks of instruction. A student may attend consecutive weeks or enroll at various times during the summer. A record of their progress is maintained to insure each student's correct placement (ability level groups) upon their return to the program.

This is our 36nd year of servicing players on Long Island and the NY Metropolitan area. Many of our students have gone on to play at the high school, college, and professional level.

Physical Education is an integral part of a youngster's development. At the Sports Academy, a young child can have a first-hand experience by being introduced to many different sports activities on a daily basis. Various motor skills and patterns of movement developed at an early age will help to increase coordination and athletic ability as your child grows and matures. We believe and have first hand knowledge and experience that children can be taught the meaning of teamwork, cooperation, and sharing through small group instruction. With our structured environment, each child can improve his skills while developing a positive feeling of confidence and a lifelong love of sports. In each sport area, children will find an experienced, caring, patient, and knowlegeable staff member. Our low ratio of coach to player (1:7) will ensure your child's personal attention.
