French Woods offers summer camp programs in dance, theater, music, circus, magic, visual arts, sports, and horseback riding programs. Each child, works with our staff to design his or her own unique summer experience. Campers are able to focus on one particular area of interest, or they may choose to select a variety of activities. We are at the same time, a theater camp, an art camp, a dance camp, a circus camp, a horseback riding camp, a sports camp, a magic camp, and a camp that offers all the traditional camp activites, with world class programs that each child can choose a-la-cart.

French Woods is located on a private lake in the western Catskill mountains of New York State near the Delaware river and the Pennsylvania Border. The camp is approximately two and a half hours from New York City between Monticello and Binghamton.

Outstanding camps at the exceptional grounds and facilities of Stony Brook University and the University of Virginia for boys and girls ages 9 - 18. All of our programs offer a summer filled with fun, stimulating learning and new friendships. Each program includes as a part of the program all evening and weekend activities. 4 Star Academics -- At Univ. of Virginia. Choose from a variety of courses in the Senior High or Junior High programs or SAT Prep or American Studies for International Students. Instructors are experienced secondary school teachers, advanced graduate students and other professionals in their fields, hired for their expertise and dedication to young people. Classes are small stress personal interaction between students and teachers.

4 Star Golf -- Developed and refined over the years by a staff of PGA pros and our own golf professionals, 4 Star Camps has created the total summer golf program second to none. We combine the best of supervision with quality instruction and fun, non-golf activities to provide an unforgettable summer experience.

4 Star Sports -- At Univ. of Virginia. The ultimate sports camp for the well-rounded athlete and those looking to learn and master multiple sports. Mix and match sports with academics, work on two sports or just focus on one sport all day.

4 Star Tennis -- At Stony Brook University & Univ. of Virginia. Improve your tennis skills or begin to play the game in our nationally renowned Tennis Camps. Physical Education is an integral part of a youngster's development. At the Sports Academy, a young child can have a first-hand experience by being introduced to many different sports activities on a daily basis. Various motor skills and patterns of movement developed at an early age will help to increase coordination and athletic ability as your child grows and matures. We believe and have first hand knowledge and experience that children can be taught the meaning of teamwork, cooperation, and sharing through small group instruction. With our structured environment, each child can improve his skills while developing a positive feeling of confidence and a lifelong love of sports. In each sport area, children will find an experienced, caring, patient, and knowlegeable staff member. Our low ratio of coach to player (1:7) will ensure your child's personal attention.

Long Lake Camp offers a unique combination of incredible oportunities in performing arts, fine arts, music, dance, watersports and trditional camp fun. Chelsea Piers, Manhattan's premier destination for youth sports, is home to 12 specialty sports camps for children and teens, ages 3 and older.
