Ridge Summer Camps

Camp Ridgecrest for Boys is located in the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina. We are a Christian camp with a recreational emphasis. We hire a staff that are strong Christian role models to lead the campers that attend. We have a wide variety of activities, so that any child can find their "niche" here.

Oak Ridge Military Academy offers one five week Summer Academic Camp for young men and women in grades 8 - 12, and two, two week Leadership Adventure camps for young men and women ages 10 -18. We offer three boarding options for our Summer Programs; 7 day boarding, 5 day baording, and day campers. We have exciting weekend activities and trips planned for our 7 day boarding campers. Additional activities include visiting amusement and water parks, rappelling on our property, rock climbing, movies, and other recreational trips.
Our first session of Leadership Adventure Camp begins on 23 June 2012 and ends on 7 July 2012. The second session runs from 7 - 21 July 2012. Summer Academic Camp begins on 23 June 2012 and ends on 28 July 2012.
Students may take one course for a full academic credit over a five-week period. The academic camp will include daily monitored study halls. For the remainder of the day and early evening the Summer Academic Campers will be taking part in the same outdoor activities as the Leadership Adventure Campers.
Leadership Adventure Campers will spend the majority of the day outside participating in fun and challenging activities such as paintball, Rappelling, Archery, Marksmanship Training, Running the Obstacle Course, Swimming, and several other activities. All Leadership Adventure Campers will be rotated through several leadership positions throughout the camp so they can get some leadership experience.
All of this fun, learning and adventure takes place under adult supervision in a safe, structured environment.
