Chikopi nurtures and challenges boys so they discover new parts of themselves: A nine-year-old sails across the lake — and back! A 12-year-old afraid of water, learns to swim a, “dock to rock”, and a 15-year-old who has never stuck with anything in the city is given the constant support he needs to prepare for the 6 day wilderness canoe trip. Their self-esteem grows. Our highly trained veteran staff and 3:1 camper-to-staff ratio allows us to ensure each camper individual nurturing attention.
