1. Musketeers and Learn To Fence Camps - Fencing Basics for Kids and Teens

We offer day camps for kids from 8-11 in our Musketeers Camp and 12-18 in our Learn To Fence Camp. Both camps are offered June 16-20, July 27-August 1 and August 18-22. Musketeers Camp runs from 10:00 a.m.- 12:00 p.m. and Learn to Fence from 12:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m.

2. 4-H Outdoor School - 4-H Outdoor School, Grades 5-8, September 11-14, 2011 @ Oregon 4-H Youth Conference and Education Center. Studies will include Creation Science for homeschooled youth.

4-H Outdoor School - September 11-14, 2011
The 4-H Homeschool Outdoor School is a program sponsored by Polk County 4-H and Polk Christian Home Educators and is open to all youth in grades 5-8. You do not need to be a 4-H member. (We will be having homeschooled high school age youth to serve as counselors. If you are interested in counseling, contact us.)

The program is designed to give youth hands-on outdoor learning experiences with natural science, pond study, forestry, outdoor cooking, leather craft, wind energy, archery, animal habitat, survival skills and more. We will have featured presentations
and campfire activities. Free time activities include canoes, swings, crafts, archery, soccer and more.

Camp participants will stay in Cottages that have four bedrooms, each containing two sets of bunk beds with mattresses. The cottages have a common area and bathrooms with private showers. Cabins may also be used. This beautifully wooded location is just 6 miles from downtown Salem.

Cost for the overnight camp is $40 per youth/adults if registered and received by September 1st. Additional $10.00 late fee added Sept. 1st and after.
Partial Scholarships available upon request.

3. Wild West Camp - Wild West Camp - July 18-22 @ 4-H Conference Center in West Salem, Oregon. Price: $215 Overnight camp for grades 4-7. A program by Polk, Marion and Yamhill County 4-H

WILD WEST CAMP, Monday-Friday: July 18-22 2011
Overnight camp: $215
The Wild West Camp is a program of Oregon State University Extension Service and is open to all youth. Sponsored by Marion, Polk and Yamhill County 4-H. The camp is located at the beautiful Oregon 4-H Conference Center in the West Salem Hills of Oregon.

The 4-H Wild West Camp is open to all youth completing grades 4-7 (need not be a 4-H member). This overnight camp is designed to give youth hands-on outdoor experiences like hiking, riding horses, canoeing, fishing, archery, swimming, natural science, digital photography, crafts, and more. Campers are placed with trained high school age 4-H counselors and supervised by 4-H youth development staff. Youth participate in traditional campfire activities with songs, skits, s'mores and more.

Although every camper will have a horse class, there is a Horse Track where youth will be housed at horse camp with more time to learn, care for and ride the horses at camp (Additional $75 fee for this).

Cost is $215 per camper if registered by June 28, 2011. ($35 late fee after June 28).

Horse Track is an additional $75 per camper if registered by June 28th. Although all campers have one horse riding class, campers in horse track get a class every day.
