American English Studies is an International ESL Summer Camp which operates at Northampton Community College in the Lehigh Valley, PA USA. Students range in age from 11-17.

Now is the time to begin considering English summer camps for 2010! American English Studies is preparing for its ninth summer of organizing camps for international students. This year, we are proud to be returning to Northampton Community College (NCC) in Pennsylvania, USA. Spacious grounds, modern facilities, and proximity to major travel destinations such as New York City make NCC a superb place for this year’s English language summer camp.
NCC Facilities include: Tennis and basketball courts, a raquetball court, baseball, softball and soccer fields, sand volleyball court, golf range, new state-of-the-art indoor athletic facility, well-equipped classrooms, activity rooms, a full-service cafeteria, and more!
Residence halls: (Maximum number of 182 beds). Two or three-person rooms, free laundry room (washers and dryers), air conditioning, private phones, Internet access, computer stations, common room with TV, mini-café, and game room with TV and billiards table.
Sample program: Each week includes a full-day and half-day excursion, 15 hours of English instruction, three meals a day, and a wide range of sports and structured activities. Please see our sample program insert.
Location of Excursions: Half-day or full-day trips may be taken to the following destinations (depending on time of arrival): New York City (90 min. east), Philadelphia (40 min. south), Princeton University (60 min. east), Historic Bethlehem (15 min. south), Lancaster (60 min. southwest), Martin Guitar in Nazareth, Mack Truck Factory tour, The Crossings Shopping Outlets, King of Prussia Malls & Valley Forge, local swimming pools, Jacobsburg Park, etc.
Camp dates: Groups or individuals are invited to stay for two to eight weeks between dates ranging from late June to mid-August, 2010. Students should arrive on a Sunday and depart on a Sunday to ensure they receive all lessons and excursions.

A skating day camp for boys and girls who enjoy skating and want to improve their skills and learn new **skills, or for those who want to learn to skate.

Who : Children ages 4 years of age and up who are working on levels Basic 1 through Pre-Preliminary Freestyle.

Affiliation : The 2008 Summer Skating Camp is an advanced program which uses the standards of the

The Lehigh University Basketball Camp offers young campers an opportunity to work and develop their skills in a fun-focused atmosphere. All youth get to work directly with our D-1 basketball players.

The Lehigh University Basketball Camp offers young campers an opportunity to work and develop their skills in a fun-focused atmosphere. All youth get to work directly with our D-1 basketball players and coaches as well as select top high school and college coaches from around the area.
The summer of 2009 looks to be an exciting time at Lehigh; it is Coach Reed's second summer as Camp Director!
There will be two sets of games (morning and afternoon). Skill instruction taking place in both morning and afternoon portions of the day will provide a platform for campers to implement and utilize what has been learned within a game setting.
We are looking forward to June 15th and August 3th and having you be part of a fun, informative, and improved Lehigh Boys Basketball Camp!

Viking Treasure Trek: The Quest Begins – Navigate the oceans and investigate clues to locate long-lost Viking treasure!
Comic Book Science: FlyJack and Jill – Discover the science behind super powers, such as flight and DNA coding!
Land Sled X-Treme – Be a part of the winning team that engineers the ultimate land sled in an X-treme obstacle course!
Recess Remix - Creative outdoor games
Directed and taught by qualified local educators, Camp Invention is a national, non-profit science enrichment program from the National Inventors Hall of Fame Foundation in partnership with the United States Patent and Trademark Office.

Morning Session: Touchstone Bootcamp Basics
July 17-28, 9:00 –12:00
The Morning Session uses theatre exercises, games and improvisations to encourage creative exploration, both as individuals and as members of a group. Participants gain confidence in expressing ideas while building skills in speaking, acting, movement, and listening and responding to others. Instructors teach new techniques, while encouraging campers to build on existing strengths and natural abilities. Morning Session participants will join the Afternoon Session for the final performance.
Afternoon Session: Have I Got a Story for You!
July 17 – 28, 1:00 – 4:00
The Afternoon session will focus on stories big and small, and all the different ways we have to share them. Using bodies, voices and imaginations, participants will be guided in the creation of characters both familiar and fantastic. Besides physical movement and vocal technique, characters will be built using puppetry, mask-making, and improvisation. The camp culminates in an adaptation of a familiar tale performed for family and friends.
