Summer Music Programs is the most unique music camp on the planet! While some kids come to play rock, we're not a rock camp. While some kids come to play jazz, we're not a jazz band camp. SMP is a place where all styles of music are embraced. What we offer is a quality program of playing music with other kids who like the same kind of music that you do. We've had kids play all types of Rock, Jazz even country and classical. We even encourage original material. We also welcome all types of instruments. We certainly have a lot of kids come who play guitars, bass and drums but also keyboards, woodwinds, brass and even electric violin and harmonica. And let's not forget voice - that's an instrument, too.

SMP is a great place if you are an individual looking for other kids to play with but it's also the perfect place if you're in a band. You'll rehearse to get your material tight and then record at a world class, Grammy Award winning recording studio. You'll even design your own custom CD and have it in your hands by the end of the week. And to top it off you'll perform in concert on a stage with top sound equipment and lights. We'll record your performance and send you an edited DVD. Check out our website for pictures, videos and audio files.

We offer a Day Program and an Overnite Program. Each program is weekly. You can come for one week or as many as you want! We also accept enrollment all summer long.

Summer Music Programs is located on the beautiful and historic Harcum College campus in Bryn Mawr, PA. just minutes outside of Philadelphia. Rehearsals are held on campus in air-conditioned dorm rooms and recording sessions at state of the art, award winning studios.

While our hope is that you have a wonderful experience at Summer Music Programs, our primary concern is safety. Harcum College has safety officers on duty 24/7. The floors that house the dorms and rehearsal rooms are swipe card protected. We even have our own exclusive overnight security guard stationed in the hall while the kids sleep. Held at Bryn Mawr College on Philadelphia’s prestigious Main Line, Xploration offers expert instruction in the arts, sciences, popular culture and dozens of fascinating subjects specially selected for the interests of middle school students.

Xploration Workshops cover an incredibly wide range of interesting subjects. This is your chance to discover new ideas, skills and experiences in a friendly atmosphere of exploration and growth. Don’t worry if you’re trying something for the first time! We have several groups for each class and will make sure you’re in the right one for your level of experience.

Drawn almost entirely from top local schools and colleges, our instructors are career educators who have devoted their professional lives to the educational, emotional and social development of young people. Classes are lively, exciting, interactive and provocative.

Designed for ages 10-18, each student is assigned to a chamber group, and will work with a faculty member for 2 one hour sessions each day. The students will also perform in a side-by-side student/faculty string orchestra. The festival culminates with a joint student/faculty concert on the Friday evening of the workshop.

The mission of the Summer Institute for the Gifted (SIG) is to provide the highest quality educational and social opportunities for academically gifted and talented students through programs designed to meet their abilities and needs.

SIG at Bryn Mawr College, PA, provides academically advantanced students in grades k-11 with an exciting and challenging educational experience.

The program combines remarkable academic courses with cultural, social, and recreational opportunities. The academic program is central to the design and purpose of SIG. Our programs provide students with academic challenges designed to fit their abilities and interests. It also provides them with the opportunity to engage with other students who have similar abilities and interests. Because of our small classes, low teacher-student ratio, and the presence of an assistant in every class, we are able to individualize the program for each and every student.

The richness of a broad range of geographical, cultural, and ethnic backgrounds, the stimulation created by talented and intellectually engaged students working and playing together, the depth and diversity of the SIG faculty and staff, and the beautiful and well-equipped college campus environments create a perfect atmosphere for learning, growing and accomplishing meaningful goals.

The Julian Krinsky School of Golf uses state-of-the-art video analysis to improve your strokes. Your complete golf game will be recorded at our indoor analysis center using Doppler radar to capture over 700 data points during your swing. You’ll get to compare your swing to your favorite golfers, check the flight and trajectory of your ball, custom fit your putter and track your progress during golf camp. Plus, you’ll receive your complete summer swing analysis online so you can login to view your progress anytime.

Practices and golf lessons are conducted on 25 golf courses and driving ranges, most covered for all-weather use.

Krinsky Fitness offers an amazing selection of more than 100 activities and personal services for a summer experience unlike any other. There is an optimal C.O.R.E. Tennis and Golf feature.

While our Krinsky Fitness camp has a relaxed atmosphere, you may be surprised at how hard we work. You’ll enjoy invigorating workouts and challenging classes guided by inspiring instructors. It’s all part of preparing for an enlightened life of activity and fitness the Julian Krinsky way.

The faculty at this dynamic music camp is comprised of members of the world-renown Philadelphia Orchestra (TPO). The two-week festival includes two-four private lessons with members of TPO, master classes, solo performance and competition opportunities, daily orchestra rehearsals, an optional chamber music program, private practice instruction, choir, music education courses, private recitals presented by members of TPO, and much more. The program is designed for students of all ages (8-19 years of age), and includes six orchestra levels!

Since 1978, we’ve been helping young players make dramatic improvements in their tennis game by enhancing fundamentals, focusing on strategy, and creating a supportive, competitive environment.

Our tennis programs focus on skill refinement, practice and match play to develop consistent, well-rounded tennis players. Each player is taught through personal attention and repetition in an enjoyable, challenging tennis camp atmosphere with players at his or her level.

For serious tournament players, we provide intensive tennis training to develop the physical and mental skills needed to excel in competitive play.
