Chester Summer Camps

The Brandywine Valley Association offers 1 week summer nature camps beginning in June and ending in August. Campers are split into groups by age (4-5, 6-7, 8-9, 10-12 and 11-15). Each camp has a different nature related theme. Campers participate in activities at the Myrick Conservation Center and older campers venture off site for day trips. Activities include fishing, canoeing, kayaking, tubing, pond and stream exploration, hiking, camp outs, orienteering, arts and crafts and much more!

The leader in area day camps since 1956--serving children from the main line and surrounding areas. Providing door to door transportation. Buffet lunch served daily in air conditioned cafeteria(inc snacks) ALL INCLUSIVE TUITION -includes camp laundry bag, bunk picture, hat & shirt etc). Finest in facilities, activities, staff and safety!!!!!

This is one of nine camps run by Girl Scouts of Eastern Pennsylvania. Camp Tweedale is located in Chester County, Pennsylvania. Each camp session has several programs to choose from. Past programs include Adventure Sports, The Amazing Race, Canoe Attach, Animal Lover in You, Appalachian Adventure, CLUE!, Craft Queens, Extreme Watersports, Pampered Camper, Potpourri Extravaganza, River Riders, Tweedale Bakery, Splish Splash, Washington!, Yo Design, Climb It!, Allegheny Adventure, On Belay, French Creek Paddle and Pedal. The camp has a variety of living shelters that house four girls each and have wooden floors with cots and mattresses.

Viking Treasure Trek: The Quest Begins – Navigate the oceans and investigate clues to locate long-lost Viking treasure!
Comic Book Science: FlyJack and Jill – Discover the science behind super powers, such as flight and DNA coding!
Land Sled X-Treme – Be a part of the winning team that engineers the ultimate land sled in an X-treme obstacle course!
Game On: Power Play - Stretch your muscles, explore new games, and add your own twist to indoor and outdoor high-energy challenges!

The Curious Cypher Club - Decipher puzzling riddles and crack unusual codes to discover who is sending mysterious messages ... and why!

WiLD! Wondrous Innovations and Living Designs - Join us on an animal adventure as we investigate the survival traits of nature's most inventive animals.
Bounce! An Atomic Journey - Learn about nanotechnology, chemistry, and polymers as you explore the science behind bouncy balls.
Directed and taught by qualified local educators, Camp Invention is a national, non-profit STEM enrichment program from Invent Now Kids in partnership with the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
