Directing the camp is Head Football Coach at West Chester University, Bill Zwaan. Bill Zwaan enters his 11th season as head coach of the Golden Rams, having put together one of the most impressive coaching resume’s in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference during that span.

3. Camp Tweedale
Chester County, Pennsylvania

Camp Tweedale, operated by Girl Scouts of Eastern Pennsylvania, offers a wide variety of programs in 3-day, 1-week, 2-week and 9-day sessions. Tweedale is open to girls 6-17, including non-Girl Scouts.

This is one of nine camps run by Girl Scouts of Eastern Pennsylvania. Camp Tweedale is located in Chester County, Pennsylvania. Each camp session has several programs to choose from. Past programs include Adventure Sports, The Amazing Race, Canoe Attach, Animal Lover in You, Appalachian Adventure, CLUE!, Craft Queens, Extreme Watersports, Pampered Camper, Potpourri Extravaganza, River Riders, Tweedale Bakery, Splish Splash, Washington!, Yo Design, Climb It!, Allegheny Adventure, On Belay, French Creek Paddle and Pedal. The camp has a variety of living shelters that house four girls each and have wooden floors with cots and mattresses.

5. Myrick Conservation Center Summer Camp
West Chester, Pennsylvania

Operating for 28 years, The Brandywine Valley Association's Summer Camp, located at the 318 acre Myrick Conservation Center, offers innovative nature camps in a traditional outdoor setting.

The Brandywine Valley Association offers 1 week summer nature camps beginning in June and ending in August. Campers are split into groups by age (4-5, 6-7, 8-9, 10-12 and 11-15). Each camp has a different nature related theme. Campers participate in activities at the Myrick Conservation Center and older campers venture off site for day trips. Activities include fishing, canoeing, kayaking, tubing, pond and stream exploration, hiking, camp outs, orienteering, arts and crafts and much more!
