SUMMER BOOT CAMPS 2010


Our Summer Boot Camps are ideal programs for musicians ages 8-18. Students spend 2 weeks learning and working in a hands-on atmosphere honing their playing and performance expertise as well as learning valuable music industry-related skills. Not only will they meet and interact with other talented young musicians, they're also given unique access to established music professionals . Summer Boot Camps are the perfect introduction to The School of Rock.
Summer Boot Camps feature:
Classic rock music appreciation
Crash course on the nuts and bolts of live performance
Elements of song writing and composition
Tons of Rehearsal time
Guitar, Bass, Drums, Keyboards and Vocal instruction
Private and group instruction .
A special LIVE rock show performance for all of your friends and family

COSTS: $1400 per 2 week session* (for Non-SoR students)
$1200 per session* (for enrolled SoR students)
*RECEIVE $200.00 OFF -IF PAID IN FULL BY APRIL 1st

* Recreational and instructional swimming offered twice daily in our own pool. Swim lessons for all campers are included every AM and PM.

* Arts and Crafts includes: lots of fun using various media such as clay, nature crafts, painting, printing, beading and collage….

* Sports and Outdoor Games includes soccer and other outdoor sports and games on our own playing field and shady playground.

* Our Game Room is stocked with everything from puzzles and games to computers!

THEATRE ARTS CENTER
2011 PERFORMING ARTS & DANCE CAMP

A "serious fun" professionally-based program for talented 5-19 year old students, beginner to advanced, who are looking for a unique performing arts experience. Students perform completely staged musicals at two professional theatres--Sellersville Theatre & Bristol Riverside Theatre! 2010 summer students performed for over 6,500 theatregoers! This sets up apart from other day and overnight "camps."

Includes classes in acting, musical theatre, voice, dance, on-camera, & more. Two - seven week sessions available beginning June 20, 2011 (Monday to Friday, 9:00 - 3:30, with some Saturday performances.) (Placement in sessions is according to age and ability.)
2011 shows include FAME, Disney's Alice in Wonderland, Phantom Tollbooth, The Adventures of Frog and Toad, The Stinky Cheese Man, Annie, and Bound for Broadway.

Conveniently located in studios at Rte. 611 and Ferry Road in Doylestown. Teachers & directors are working Theatre Arts professionals. Producing and teaching in Bucks County since 1985!

MUSICAL THEATRE PERFORMANCE ENSEMBLE FOR TEENS

Theatre and dance workshop and acting ensemble for talented students ages 14-19 who are looking for a professional performing arts experience. Ensemble performs the international hit--FAME! Includes Master Classes with Broadway Guest Artists. Perform in TWO shows. 2009 Ensemble performed the World Premier of THE DROWSY CHAPARONE JR., the Tony winning Broadway hit, and a fully staged music & dance revue, choreographed by professionals such as Angelo Fraboni (Broadway's The Full Monty), Stephanie Klemons (Broadway's In the Heights), Michael O'Donnell (Broadway's Spamalot) & Penny Ayn Maas (Broadway's Cabaret). See web site for a sampling of the professionals you will be working with. Ensemble performs at the new Sellersville Theatre & Bristol Riverside Theatre. July 18, 2011 - Aug. 14, 2011. Produced by Theatre Arts Center, in Doylestown. All teachers and directors are working theatre arts professionals. Great preparation for performing arts conservatories, high schools, colleges, and for those auditioning for school shows and beyond.
