GENERAL CAMP INFORMATION: Camp Cayuga is a private, coed, nonsectarian, residential summer camp for children ages 5 to 15. The camp is located on a secluded 350-acre estate in the Pocono Mountains of Northeast Pennsylvania, just outside the village of Honesdale. It’s about a 3-hour drive from NYC and Philadelphia.

QUALITY & EXPERIENCE: Camp Cayuga was purchased by Mike Buynak in 1964, who turned over the full-time directorship in 1983 to his son, Brian. SEPARATE TEEN CAMPUS: Cayuga’s property is divided into 2 campuses. With two separate campuses, we can provide two separate programs geared to the different age groups on each campus. Teen Campus houses campers entering 8th to 10th grade who are 13 years old (or older) before arriving at camp. Teen Campus is reserved exclusively for teenagers. Junior Campus houses campers entering 1st to 8th grade who are 13 years old or younger. Campers entering 8th grade, who are 13 years of age before arrival, have the option to reside on either campus.

CREATE YOUR OWN ACTIVITY SCHEDULE: Campers, entering 5th grade & higher, select their own activities each morning after breakfast. Campers can sign-up with their friends, so they can attend the same activities together that day. There are over 60 different activities offered every day! Cayuga’s Elective Program provides campers the opportunity to explore their individual interests and pursue those interests he/she finds most challenging.

JUNIOR DIVISION ACTIVITY SCHEDULE: Campers, entering 4th grade & lower, participate in the Junior Activity Program. Each Junior cabin is provided with its own weekly activity schedule, which is geared to the age and gender of the cabin group. The schedule is different each day of the week! Campers travel together as a “cabin group” to activities under the direct supervision of their counselor.

ENROLLMENT INFORMATION: The camper population is limited to 390 campers. To register your child at Cayuga, you can complete the on-line camper enrollment application or the hard-copy application. Cayuga offers flexible sessions including 2, 4, 6, and 8 weeks. Diversity and nonrepetition of the program are two guidelines we use in planning the summer's calendar of events. Sibling credits and "early registration" discounts are available.

OVER 60 DAILY ACTIVITIES: Cayuga offers over 60 daily activities including horseback riding (included in tuition), paintball, ATVs, skateboarding, all land and water sports, as well as scuba diving clinics, swim meets, track meets, horse shows, overnights, cookouts, and exciting trips, weekly special events, and fun evening activities.

CAMP STAFF: Our success with first-time campers is directly related to the quality of our staff. Each camper is under the close care and direct supervision of at least 2 cabin counselors. Our youngest counselor is entering his sophomore year of college. There is no Junior Staff Program at Cayuga. Our Division Directors assist the cabin counselors, and will frequently communicate with our campers' parents when deemed necessary. In addition, there are over 40 Senior Staff Members who direct and supervise various areas of the camp's program, and stand ready to work with your child on a one-to-one basis to make his/her summer camp experience a successful one. The summer camps of Ballibay Camps, Inc. offer a wide range of non-competitive fine and performing arts activities in fun, traditional camp settings. We are located on a beautiful mountaintop in Northeastern Pennsylvania. Camp meals emphasize health, seasonality, whole local ingredients and sustainability. An on-site garden provides some produce and opportunities for camper participation. Established in 1964, American Camping Association accredited.

Camp Ballibay for the Performing and Fine Arts

Camp Ballibay is an arts summer camp offering a wide range of non-competitive fine and performing arts activities. We offer exciting programs in theater, the visual arts, music, dance, video, radio, and rock music. We have an excellent horseback riding program, swimming instruction, and daily sports activities. Our program is completely individual choice: campers can focus on a single activity all day, pick several to focus on, or try a little of everything! Sessions run 3 to 6 weeks in length for boys and girls ages 8-16.

The summer ends with a special two-week theater intensive for beginning and intermediate performers: Camptown Theater Workshop. The structured theater program includes includes seminar-style classes in many aspects of theatre craft, a very focused scene workshop in which each camper will participate in several Shakespeare and musical theatre scenes (performed at the end of the two weeks), and a campers/staff full-camp chorus which rehearses every evening. Participation in staged readings and one-act play productions are available for campers wanting even more theatre. Campers also have two hours of elective time per day in which all of our major program areas are available. Session runs 2 weeks in length for boys and girls ages 8-16.



The Farm Arts Camp
The Farm Arts Camp focuses on a love of the arts and the outdoors, with a strong emphasis on the visual arts (painting, drawing, photography, printmaking, & ceramics) and traditional camp activities such as horseback riding, boating, outdoor cooking and camping, hiking, and nature study. We offer a wide range of non-competitive activities in a fun, friendly traditional camp setting.

Campers at The Farm also have access to programs at The Farm’s sister camp, Camp Ballibay, including a full music program (instrumental, vocal, and rock/folk/pop music instruction), a theater program (one-act plays), a camp radio station, swimming instruction, daily sports activities, and movement programs.

Sessions range from 2 to 8 weeks in length for boys and girls ages 8-16.


Endless Mountains Dance Camp

Breathtaking surroundings, excellent facilities, innovative curriculum, and outstanding instruction are combined to create the Endless Mountains Dance Camp. EMDC is a summer haven for the experienced dancer, combining the best of professional-level instruction with an understanding of kids, the joy of dance, and a love of nature and the outdoors.

EMDC is designed for campers with dance experience, a commitment to the arts, and an open-mind to try new styles. During the two-week intensive, campers spend most of their day in dance classes and rehearsals, while still having time each day to try other activity areas at EMDC's sister camp, Camp Ballibay. All campers enrolled in EMDC take daily technique classes in ballet, modern or jazz. Other classes throughout the intensive include improvisation, composition/choreography, and musical theater. In addition to growing our Dance on Camera program, new classes are always being introduced (including yoga, flamenco, pilates, and capoeria).

Sessions are 2 weeks in length for boys and girls ages 8-16.


The Rock Farm
Multiple rock studios, acoustic and electronic drum kits, amplifiers, guitars and basses of all types, keyboards, large assortment of percussion instruments are combined to create The Rock Farm. TRF's program offers lessons daily in guitar, drums, and/or bass guitar; songwriting and improvisation classes; staff-directed bands; and great performance and recording opportunities. Campers spend most of their day in band rehearsals, music lessons, and individual practice time, while still having time each day to try other activity areas.

Campers also have access to programs at The Rock Farm’s sister camp, Camp Ballibay, including a theater program (one-act plays), a camp radio station, fine arts (painting, drawing, ceramics, photography, printmaking), horseback riding program, swimming instruction, daily sports activities, and movement programs.

JUNIORS (age 9 and younger) STRUCTURED: Junior campers travel as a cabin group with their cabin counselor to activities designed for their age group. Certain activity sites offer electives which allows the juniors some choice in their programming. Counselors are specially chosen for their warmth, experience and ability to work with younger campers. Typically, three counselors are assigned to every junior cabin. Child care professionals supervise each junior division and watch over the camper's hygiene, health care and well-being.

INTER/SENIOR PROGRAM (age 10 and older) INDIVIDUALIZED: Older campers get to choose all of their activities at Lohikan. Activities are chosen on a weekly basis and adjusted daily. You can adjust your schedule to travel with friends or specialize in as many activities as you want. The choice is yours!

INSTRUCTION: All activities are headed and instructed by professionals and supported by a staff of college-enrolled instructors who are certified in their field of specialty. Beginner through advanced skill levels are accommodated and in certain activities private lessons are available, i.e., tennis, equitation, music. In addition to instructional classes, recreational time is provided in all activities.

SPECIAL SUMMER CLINICS: Clinics are specially scheduled and staffed, concentrated instructional programs designed to focus the camper's attention and time on improving a specific set of skills. Certain clinics are an outgrowth of programs already operating on a daily basis but offered to provide campers, with strong interest, an opportunity to become immersed in the activity (3-4 hours per day) with the purpose of producing more advanced skills in a relatively short period of time, i.e. High 5 Basketball Clinic, Competitive Tennis, Skate Camp, etc. Other clinics feature programs and activities (skill development) not offered in the camp's daily activity line-up, i.e. Spy Camp, Survival Camp.

In addition to building skills and providing amusement, the Clinics Program lends diversity to the summer camp program and are very popular with many of our campers. Our 50+ senior staff members are adult professionals who assume supervisory responsibilities in camp and at least 90% return every summer. Our in-cabin counselors are college-enrolled staff members who return at a rate better than 50%. Valley Forge Summer Camp gives your child an experience from which he/she will benefit as he/she grows into a young adult. At Valley Forge, we build self-confidence, teach the value of teamwork, and encourage personal achievement.

On our 120-acre campus, programs are offered that will challenge your son or daughter,a fitness camp for teens, leadership training, outdoor adventure, sports, and carefully-selected field trips. Includes outdoor challenges, confidence-building, sports,academics, survival skills, paintball, go-carts, canoeing, and other activities within a structured camp lifestyle.

Our Summer Camp staff of 160 men and women consists of approximately 45 Counselors, 10 Assistant Camp Commandants, 6 Camp Commandants, food service staff, medical staff, teaching faculty, sports coordinators, and other personnel. We maintain an 8:1 camper-counselor ratio. Our counselors and other professional staff receive special training in order to enhance the experience for each camper.

This year VFMA is offering the Glenn Foley Football Camp for 9-17 years old boys. This camp will focus on quarterbacks and receivers and teach proper technique, fundamentals, repetition and motivation.

Lake Greeley Camp is a residential camp nestled in the beautiful Pocono Mountains of Northeast Pennsylvania on 250 picturesque acres, including our very own 50 acre lake. We are a family owned and operated camp specializing in first time campers for more than 45 years.

Our modern cabins are home to 300 campers during the summer, approximately 150 boys and 150 girls, ranging in ages from 6 to 15. Also living in each cabin with the campers are at least two college age counselors, providing 24 hour supervision. Our facilities include a new 12,000 square foot gymnasium, amphitheater, two horseback riding rings, an Olympic size pool, a dance studio and three athletic fields. This year campers can also see something else towering 45 feet above the ground, our brand new rock climbing wall and zipline.

Lake Greeley Camp offers a 100% elective program for campers entering the 5th grade and up. Every day campers can design their own schedule and take part in only the activities they want. If all that weren’t enough, we also offer a number of trips and special activities for our campers to take advantage of. First, eight times during the summer we will be taking trips to see the AAA affiliate of the New York Yankees. If you like football, then get ready to enjoy the fast-paced action of the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Pioneers. Twice during the summer we will pack up the entire camp and go to Dorney Park and Wild Water Kingdom for the day. This summer our exciting Three Day Trip will be to Washington, D.C. and Baltimore. On a daily basis we will be taking trips to nearby Promised Land State Park and Shohola Falls. There’s also whitewater rafting trips down the Delaware River and off camp mountain biking trips. If you would like to do some good old fashioned camping you can do that too with one of the many overnights we offer right on our campgrounds. You can also combine your love of horses and camping with one of our horseback overnights. On the 4th of July get ready for the famous Lake Greeley Camp picnic, including giant inflatables and fireworks. Specialized clinics taking place during the summer include clinics by professional scuba divers and the Five Star Basketball Clinic. We strive to provide an exciting camp experience, in a safe and friendly environment, with an emphasis on the spiritual needs of the camper. The camper staff ratio is approximately 2:1.

Our horsemanship program is one of the highest quality camp programs available. Safety is of utmost importance at Quarter K Ranch and proper attire, including a helmet and riding boots (provided), must be worn while working around horses at all times. In addition to the one-on-one lessons included in your package, each package contains 4 horse demos, 4 horse care and handling lectures, a 1 hour group basics lesson, and 5 horse Bible lessons.

The instructors will teach your child all they can while at camp and instruct using the American Association for Horsemanship Safety (AAHS) methods. The horses used in the horsemanship program are kid-safe lesson horses.
Your 6-14 year old child will be evaluated to see which riding skills he/she already possesses. Then he/she will be taught from their

Campers will be assigned riding groups based on riding experience. They will ride and receive
instructional training every morning. There will also be additional trail-rides & games on horses.
Campers will engage in numerous other horse related activities throughout the day. They will assist in the care of the horses & the stable. There will be visits from the farrier & vet. Horse related crafts, horse-shows, games on and off the horses, swimming, field trips and more. Plenty of fun and challenging activities are planned.

Quarry Valley Farm is the place to be for a summer filled with fun and friendship

Learn horsemanship and riding skills, work with small farm animals, help create themed gardens, become a friend to the environment and do some outdoor exploration– all in the name of fun!

Glade Run Adventures is home to 6 horses, a pony, a donkey, three goats, two cats, baby chicks, and a giant bunny. Our program features gardens, a greenhouse, and outdoor classrooms.
Campers ages 8-18 will participate in activities in the greenhouse, gardens, horse barn, small animal and outdoor areas, art room and kitchen. All activities are aimed at helping kids learn new things, have fun, and expose them to healthy outdoor and green activities.
Campers are responsible for their owntransportation and lunch with the exception of Friday’s pizza party. Boots and helmets are
provided; however, campers should come prepared with their own long pants. A personal water bottle, sunscreen, and bug spray are also recommended. Interested campers have the option of becoming Glade Run Adventures Junior Volunteers and as such will have the
opportunity to continue working with the horses and small animals and in the greenhouse and gardens! Scout Badging opportunities available!

Offering both a day camp as well as week long sessions of overnight camp with daily riding lessons, horse care & stable management along with the availability to expand into other interests including sports, nature, arts & crafts, bird watching, etc. New this year - enjoy our butterfly garden and learn about raising butterflies. Our camp has been in operation for 15 years and has a 98% return rate. Your child's safety and overall experience is our utmost priority.

Allegheny Riding Camp at Grier Summer is a girls' residential summer program located at the Grier School in Central Pennsylvania. We teach all levels of English hunter-jumper horseback riding. Riding campers have 2 riding lessons per day. All campers also have the opportunities to participate in a variety of other traditional camp activities such as dance, art, drama, swimming, camping, and sports. Our sessions are 3 weeks in duration, with a special 6-day rookie session for young first-time campers.

We also offer a special Show Camper program for experienced riders aged 12 to 16. Qualified campers are assigned a specific show horse and travel to A-rated horse shows while they attend camp. Riding internships are also available for qualified girls who have completed 11th grade. Show Camper programs are offered in English Hunt Seat and Western Saddle.

We also have Mother-Daughter session for girls aged 6 to 9. Our mother-daughter session is the perfect way to introduce your daughter to sleepaway camp. Each family has two bedrooms connected with a private bathroom.

Allegheny Riding Camp features beautiful facilities in the mountains of Central Pennsylvania, about 30 minutes from Penn State University. We have dormitory housing, three riding paddocks, large indoor riding arena, stables for up to 65 horses, a 25-yard swimming pool, gymnasium, athletic field, air-conditioned dance studio and 350 acres of forest.

We maintain an excellent staff ratio (1:4 or better) in the dormitory and during lessons. We accommodate less than 100 campers at a time, creating a family-like atmosphere with plenty of individual attention.
