Kids & Teen College at Penn State Abington is entering its thirteenth year of providing children and teens with a wide variety of educational and fun activities for the summer. We offer over 40 week-long day camps, covering many areas of interest. Kids & Teen College has something for everyone.

THE DMA EXPERIENCE

Founded in 2002 by technology educators from Stanford University, and led by former Stanford educators and interactive education and entertainment creators from Apple and Walt Disney Studios - Digital Media Academy delivers a world-class digital learning experience.

Learn video game design, iPhone and iPad App development, Google Android app development, robotics, computer programming using Java or C+++, digital filmmaking, digital photography, website design, 3D modeling, animation and so much more.

Beginning to advanced student campers age 6-18 learn by doing with hands-on instruction from industry professionals, with real-world experience. DMA builds and develops STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) skills - many of DMA’s instructors have literally written the book on the subject that they teach. DMA Alumni include television and music producers, filmmakers, professional photographers as well as game and app developers.

At DMA, students experience life on the campus of a prestigious American university like Stanford, Harvard or UCLA (just to name a few) while making friends and learning with others who share the same interests. Small class sizes (8:1 max) guarantee a personalized experience. Students work on their own personal project in every class.*

TECHNOLOGY LEARNING PLUS SUMMER CAMP FUN!
Emagination blends the latest in technology learning with cool non-tech activities that create a well-rounded summer camp experience for kids & teens ages 8 -17. Two-week sessions allow time to make new friends, build self-confidence and become part of a community. Many campers stay longer and return for years.

CAMPERS TAKE THREE TECHNOLOGY WORKSHOPS
Campers choose three different workshops from a huge selection including: 3D Art, 3D Animation, Flash® Animations, Anime Music Videos, Digital Music. Video Game Design --- RPG, Strategy, Action. Robotics, Radio-Controlled Cars, iApps, Java and many more!

RECREATION IS IMPORTANT
Campers get unplugged in outdoor games, swimming, Color Wars and more. It’s an organized component of Emagination’s program and is also part of the evening program for overnight campers.

SENIOR CAMP FOR TEENS
Senior Camp offers teens (in 8th grade or higher) more independence, free time and special activities.

SPECIAL GAME DESIGN PROGRAM FOR TEENS 15 – 18
Emagination also offers a separate and immersive two-week course in video game development. At Emagination Game Design teens 15 - 18 join a team to build a 3D video game, visit a game development studio, learn from guest speakers and present to a panel of industry experts. Held at Bryn Mawr College on Philadelphia’s prestigious Main Line, Xploration offers expert instruction in the arts, sciences, popular culture and dozens of fascinating subjects specially selected for the interests of middle school students.

Xploration Workshops cover an incredibly wide range of interesting subjects. This is your chance to discover new ideas, skills and experiences in a friendly atmosphere of exploration and growth. Don’t worry if you’re trying something for the first time! We have several groups for each class and will make sure you’re in the right one for your level of experience.

Drawn almost entirely from top local schools and colleges, our instructors are career educators who have devoted their professional lives to the educational, emotional and social development of young people. Classes are lively, exciting, interactive and provocative.
