Camp Survive - consists of two one-week overnight sleep-in camps in Hopkins, South Carolina for males ages 11-17. The camp is focused on teaching male youth to better understand bullying, and how to deal with it in a positive manner.

Campers are taught how to setup a tent, establish a camp area, and how to deal with nature and through a myriad of scenarios how to handle issues that might come up as they go through their school years.

 Campers are organized into small groups.
 The Groups are given scenarios to role play, which are later discussed in an open forum with camp staff and campers
 Groups are given time to plan and practice their scenarios.
 groups are then called up one at a time for their role play

All campers sleep in tents, and experience the wonders of South Carolina’s beautiful nature.
The program will teach individuals how to resolve problems in an effective way by:
• Coping with “Schoolyard Bullies”.
• Understanding how kids as bullies become adult bullies.
• Gaining confidence to win without fighting.
By understanding important factors about bullying, this creates an intelligent approach to assist young people in creating healthy alternatives to conflicts. Here is a list of the conflict resolution skills that are also important in the program that we provide.
• Fighting is not an honorable solution to conflict.
• Developing the confidence to resolve conflict creatively.
