Join us as we find out about the awesome power of planet earth!

What makes birds different from other animals? How are bird species different from each other? What do they eat? Where can you find them? Come learn the basics about birds and how to observe them!

This week long adventure will require some creativity! Get ready to create some bottle popping, color blasting and gooey experiments. We will explore science through hands on activities, lots of crafts and games.

Reptiles of the World

Discover the world's snakes, lizards, turtles, crocodilians and more. We'll learn about the wide variety of reptiles, and how they live. We'll visit with live reptiles in the classroom and out in the field. We'll discover the lives of ancient reptiles long gone. Join us for a fun and fascinating exploration.

The students will get to see demos, experience labs, take field trips, learn how to perform research and meet professionals with science backgrounds. The purpose of the camp is to discover the involvement in science in all aspects of life and to enjoy it! Activities will not be limited to the classroom; students will discover how activities such as tennis, skateboarding, breakdancing, soccer and others relate to science. Each camper will receive a binder with all labs, TAKS tips, research, science fair ideas and all handouts from the week. There will even be career and college info! Our field trip includes the Health Museum, the Houston Zoo or the Aquarium, etc...Campers who have already attended a session will get to move to level 2!

Sea Camp is a week-long adventure exploring the wonders of the marine and estuarine environments. As a Sea Camper you will have access to research vessels, oceanographic equipment, laboratory facilities and a professional staff enabling you to learn about the ocean through first-hand on-the-water experiences. There are 10 different Sea Camps to choose from. Our premier program is Marine Biology/Ecology. Other progams include: Fish Camp, Marine Mammal Workshop, Coastal Camping, Study in Belize, Ecotourism Adventure-Cancun, Mexico, Ocean Careers Awareness, Coastal Photography and Marine Geological, Chemical and Physical Oceanography.
