Agave Hurricane Trail Company
Prepare for a summer of learning and fun with Agave Hurricane!
Enjoy a summer of fun with horses! Our classes are filled with riding and horse related activities in a safe and wholesome atmosphere.
Out here at Agave Hurricane our students will be assigned their very own horse for the week! The morning will consist of grooming, saddling and riding lessons. Safety is stressed at all times. A variety of afternoon activities will be offered each day. All students will be required to attend a Horse Care class for 1 hour each day. Other activities include arts and crafts, games, and horse related activities.
Students should dress for outdoor summer weather. They must wear long pants, boots with a low heel (no sandals), and a protective riding helmet SEI approved. If you do not have a helmet, we will provide one. Bring a sack lunch each day and don't forget to wear your sunscreen & bring a hat!
By the end of the week, campers will know how to saddle, bridle, care for their horse, and control them. They will also know breeds, colors, parts of the saddle and bridle, and horse safety. All Summer Camps are 5 days & last most of the day. On Friday evening, we will have an exhibition show and BBQ so the parents can see what their child learned throughout the week.
The day summer programs will be for children ages 7 & older. Limited enrollment will be on a first come first serve basis upon receipt of the deposit and completed application. After you send in the application and deposit, we will send out a packet with all the forms and information you will need to get all set up for camp!
Polar Ice House of Grapevine Camp Polar Summer Camp
Registration is now open for Camp Polar, a week-long program designed for kids to stay cool, learn to skate and keep busy during the summer.
Camp Polar’s ice skating program is open to kids ages five to 12 and teaches them basic fundamentals of how to skate. The camp includes two hours of ice time daily, with some additional off-ice lessons, as well as crafts, movies and games. “Kids can start getting restless during the summertime, especially in the Texas heat,” said Kathi Singleton, general manager of Polar Ice House Grapevine. “Camp Polar is a great opportunity for kids to get out of the summer sun, stay active, learn skills and make friends.” The first week of Camp Polar kicks off on June 18. To register, contact the Polar Ice House front office at (972) 874-1930.
