Ages 7-18, July 10-11 - The Steve Slaton Day Football Camp offers some of the best, most intense football training available with an outstanding high school coaching staff, including Houston Texan, Steve Slaton. Camp Features: Learn from outstanding high school coaches at a 10:1 player to coach ratio. This ratio ensures that campers receive individual and team instruction on both offense and defense at camp. Daily instruction, lectures, and demonstrations by Steve Slaton. Campers get the opportunity to learn the same offensive and defensive techniques that they are taught by coaches in the NFL. Players learn more than just football at camp. They are taught about teamwork, consideration of others, self-discipline, and how to attain their potential in sports and in life. Players also learn the importance of achieving good grades and selecting correct role models. While it’s a football camp not an “autograph camp” campers will have the opportunity to get autographs from the player headlining the camp. Each camp is the right size to allow players to be matched up properly at each age level. This allows not only for a proper match up but also for the campers to be challenged and provided a safe learning environment. Without the proper sized group players are not matched up properly where they will experience frustration, failure, loss of confidence and possible injury. All Players receive a camp T-shirt. Spanish Camp for Kids with Crossing Borders!

Perfect for all ages and language levels. Students will be divided by language ability and age.

Sample Schedule:
9:00-10:15: Language Activities
10:15-10:30: Recess & Snack
10:30-12:00: Language Activities
12:00-1:00: Lunch
1:00-3:00: Arts, Crafts, and other Activities

5 different sessions available: June 6th-June 17th, June 20th-July 1st, July 5th-15th, July 18th-July 29th, and/or August 1st-12th. Register your child for 1,2,3,4, or all 5 sessions!

Camp Themes:

SESSION 1: EL VERANO – The Summer

Hot, fun, and sun are just a few words that the kids will learn in Spanish about the summer! Grab your shades, towel, and bathing suit and experience summertime in Spanish!

SESSION 2: EL CARNAVAL

Come and experience firsthand El Carnaval! You will learn when and where El Carnaval is celebrated in Latin America. As well, creating wild masks, instruments, participate and your own CARNIVAL PARADE and throw in some basic Salsa rhythm steps!

SESSION 3: SAFARI ADVENTURE

Get ready for a summer journey off the beaten path as your child transforms into a safari explorer. This session will have kids take part in hands-on activities and role-playing. They'll learn to describe and talk about savannahs, wild animals, people, art, music, and traditions. They will create wild animal masks. Moreover, students will get a chance to bring their new costume while they participate in a scavenger hunt.

SESSION 4: GLOBETROTTER'S ADVENTURE

Students participate in activities that relate to the world around them and beyond. Kids will have a fun time learning vocabulary related to their environment, transportation, people and places. They'll have the opportunity to be explorers and discover cultures from around the world.

SESSION 5: CIRCUS

"Ladies and Gentleman, children of all ages ... Welcome to our Spanish Circus Caravan blast off!" Experience the circus through the eyes of a child in Spanish! Children will learn words that relate to the circus as well as create arts and crafts that will reinforce the theme.

Camp Broadway Bound is Broadway Bounds Summer musical theatre day-camp. This camp is a safe, non-competitive environment designed to awaken the creative spirit and imagination through acting, music, dance, and performance.

The camps meet Monday through Friday either 9:00am to 1:00pm or 1:30pm - 5:30pm, for 1 week as students prepare to present a showcase presentation for family and friends.

Camp apprentices love being "immersed" in theatre, while they are involved in every aspect of the production from learning lines, music and dance steps, to creating costumes, props, and staging their showcase.

Techno Chaos strives to make science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) concepts fun and attractive for kids of all ages with a variety of formats. In our FUNdamental camps we motivate the learning of STEM through teaching robotics concepts and providing competitive challenges. In our Creativity camps, such as For Your Amusement, students are challenged to think out of the box to find a solution and communicate their ideas by building a prototype.
