Getting outside of your comfort zone is the name of the name of the game. All applicants are interviewed and selected based on their willingness to try new things and be involved. The curriculum and schedule are not made known to participants... its all a big surprise and trust me this is very important to how powerful camp is. Return participants have this to say:

"If this camp taught me anything it's that great minds don't think alike they think for themselves." -Conner

"LDC blew me away. I have never felt such a loving and caring atmosphere or environment. It made me feel like I was a person that was cared for and loved. I would trade the rest of my summer for one more day at LDC." -Chris

"LDC 2011 was a life changing experience!! It made me realize who I really am and what my values really are. I will take everything I learned from the speakers, staff, and delegates and apply it in my daily life from this point on! This was probably the greatest experience I have ever had and I wouldnt trade the time I spent towards making soo many new friends and learning soo many amazing life lessons for anything in the world. Thank you all soo much for such an amazing experience! " -Anthony

"I will never forget this week or the people I met!! Most life changing week of my life! I LOVE YOU ALL!!!!!" -Callie
