The Global Youth Village is an amazing summer program! Teens from around the world come together and talk about teen issues, global concerns, and have the time of their lives making friends from Iraq, Nigeria, Indonesia, Germany etc. They find common ground living, working, and studying with youth from around the world and become inspired to become change-agents in their communities.
The program has been around for over 30 years and has trained over 4,000 young people from over 100 countries. We are located in south-central Virginia, on 40 acres of woodlands in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Our staff members are highly qualified and come from diverse backgrounds.
In 2011, we will be offering 2 peace building sessions and a new community organizing experience. Join us for a life-changing summer!
