Cheerio Adventures is a Christian based adventure tripping program located on the New River in SW Virginia. The maximum age range on any trip is three years. All trips are small groups of 8-12 participants, plus 2-3 staff. Our main focus is helping participants learn more about themselves, improve their self-confidence, learn leadership, teamwork skills,have FUN and be challenged. All necessary equipment is provided. We are YMCA owned and accredited by the American Camp Association(ACA).

Wilderness Adventure at Eagle Landing (WAEL) is proud to support the growing nationwide movement to connect children with nature. We build character and confidence through adventure and challenge.

WAEL celebrates 20 years of unique summer adventure camps and teen summer camps that are unlike any summer camps you've seen before. We are not a traditional summer camp; we are an all-outdoor, Wilderness Adventure Camp offering 2 and 4 week trips for ages 10 to 17 with a focus on developing skills in a multitude of adventure activities.

Whether you are new to adventure camps or have lots of experience you are sure to find the summer adventure camp that is right for you. We provide all of the necessary equipment (backpacks, sleeping bags, etc.) for your summer adventure camp experience.

Adventure Camp activities include: rock climbing, kayaking, canoeing, mountain biking, rappelling, caving, ropes course, climbing wall, 900' zip line, whitewater rafting, sea kayaking, environmental education, and many more outdoor adventure activities.
